It's sunny here and we have a light breeze that makes it feel like 12 degrees and it's going down to 7 tonight. A winter storm warning for Sunday night thru Monday night with blizzard conditions.. I'm staying home.

Good plan. Last night and this morning, I fixed a guitar I have owned for years that needed some electronics replaced. So I've been playing it a lot... staying home works really well for me too.
 
Hey folks today was house related. Got some foam weatherstripping for the windows (I don’t expect much but every little bit helps). Went to ikea and saw some small things for my office that I’ve added to my wish list. Got pet food and went to HMart for something my wife is making. Now I’m just relaxing having a beer and waiting for dinner.

A very long time ago, I used to play saxophone and Lady K played the banjo in a folk parade on January 1st. A long 10 hour parade in Philadelphia PA...every year for 11 years.. now we watch it on TV

True story: when I was in my last semester of college, I did a research project that took me to New York City for a few days. I stayed with a friend who lived in Westchester County and rode the commuter train into Manhattan every day with his father. The man knocked down three Irish Coffees every morning on his way to work. In the return trip in theafternoon, he and friends had gin-and-tonics the size of milkshakes while they played cards. Even then I couldn't even consider trying to keep up with that level of drinking.
