Studies: Young Liberal Women Are the Most Mentally Ill Demographic – Old Conservative Men the Least​

An infographic showing a connection between age, gender, and political affiliation to a mental health diagnosis has sparked debate on social media.
The historic data from a 2020 Pew American Trends Panel study asked respondents whether a doctor or healthcare provider had ever told them that they have a mental health condition.

Results show that white liberal women aged 18-29 were the most likely to have been diagnosed with a mental health condition with 56.3% of respondents answering ‘yes’ in response to the question. This dropped to 27.3% when 18-29-year-old conservative women were questioned.

Trends show a decrease among all political affiliations in older age groups, with the exception being white moderate women aged 30-49 (32.8%) compared to the 18-29-year-olds of the same political viewpoint (28.4%).

Every Monday I meet with a group of female friends in a London restaurant. We sit at a table near the window and discuss our lives.
We have many things in common. We are all in our mid-50s and highly educated career women. But there is a vacuum in our lives. We are all single and childless.

I increasingly feel, as do many of my intimates, that feminism has failed our generation. I grew up with its beliefs. No, strike that. I was force-fed them.

By the age of 13, Christmas presents from my Women's Lib aunt were books by Gloria Steinem and Simone de Beauvoir, considered the mother of modern feminism. (My aunt was one of those militants who had famously disrupted the 1970 Miss World contest).

My peers and I watched Mary Poppins, idolising the determinedly single nanny (never noticing the occasional sadness behind her eyes), and sympathising with suffragette Mrs Banks, while wondering why she didn't leave her dullard of a husband.

If we go a bit deeper we'll find that many of those are victims of "higher education" in institutions where they were mentally hijacked and ideologically enslaved by alien mindsets leaving them condemned to their present state. A state that for many might be irreversible.

I actually believe there's a scientific reason behind it.

When people go through the change from adolescent to adult, their brain physically shifts some of the brain functions from one area to another and turns off the previously used adolescent parts for that function. That causes some mental confusion, which, combined with the hormonal cycle being introduced and still somewhat wonky and unreliable, creates what appears to be mental illness or mental instability.

This is why teens do dumb shit and can't explain why.

Enter the reverse where people go from their prime to "middle age" and that same sort of thing begins to happen again, except backward. Hormones wane, chemical signals get screwed up, physical changes start to occur, and so on. This also creates that unstable condition of the human body and that makes us vulnerable to suggestion and propaganda.

Which gives an explanation for the study results in the linky. Whether that's true or not I can't say, but it is logical and seems to follow the human condition.

No it wouldn't, and speaking out forcefully against aspects of the gay movement or say the crime rates in minority communities broaches no borders of intellectual decency. I can understand why young, liberal women get depressed.
