There was an Oregon band that got famous for about 15 minutes called The Cherry Poppin' Daddies. (They got pigeonholed as a retro-swing band. They did more punk and ska, but whatever, "Zoot Suit Riot" is still a banger.) Saw them live a bunch of times, but one year they were playing New Year's Eve. Steve, the lead singer, came out for one song driving an 8-foot long motorized penis (AKA the Dildoser, the Motopenis, and, my favorite, The Dildorado.) It was built on a motorcycle engine, and shot confetti and condoms into the crowd via compressed air. It was epic.
