I'm a 1911 type guy. I think they're safer to carry concealed. For my EDC I'm still rocking my Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 ACP. It comes out of their custom shop and is a quality pistol. The only thing I'd say is to replace the stock magazines with Wilson Combat magazines. You'll get flawless performance.
