Stephanopoulis has been a handsomely paid journalist for years. He certainly knows the importance of accuracy but he chose to disregard the truth.

Both parties were scheduled to be deposed. Trump is in the midst of preparing for what is arguably the biggest job in the world. His goal was to force an admission from GS and ABC. He succeeded. No doubt GS and ABC are relieved to avoid a potentially embarrassing deposition.

The GS/ABC settlement is the latest step toward legal and public exoneration. The legal system has adjudicated most of the lawfare cases in Trump’s favor. The civil case and the document classification case in NY are being appealed. Voters have already rendered their judgement in the most powerful way imaginable. They returned him to the White House in the most stunning political comeback in modern history. Indeed, these lawfare cases may have played a role in Trump’s reelection.

A one-time misspoken use would be sufficient for a court case under the law. Fourteen might be construed as overzealous but not any different than Trump's parroting the same insane lines in public appearances time after time, e.g., "It was a rigged election..." That's just insane.

However, if you're tracking the exact numbers, we might as well say it is in line with Trump's 34 mistakes or rather, convictions for felony fraud. The court called him a felon thirty-four times in one session, and we don't have to worry about doing the same here, that is for sure, as it is a matter of record. To err is human, to forgive... well, Lance doesn't go that route.

It seems to be an open-secret in some circles.
