Polaroid changed our lives for the better !

Edwin Land, a giant among (and for) men.

Those of us who remember the SX-70 and the OneStep marvel at how readily women pose nude for today's digital cameras. I tried and tried with Polaroids, but never succeeded.

I would guess late 60s or early 70s. The hair styles on #3 and #5 remind me of some of the Playboys from the late 60s.

Aesthetics change, of course, but my God the upholstery in the 1970's (and there is NO doubt that is when these were taken) was inexcusable by any standard. (And while it may be a trick of the lighting or whatever, given the presence of a very attractive naked girl on it, I shall always regard the cushion above her thigh in the second photo to have a stain of truly promising size and provenance.)

I think most posters in this thread love the human upholstery. It's the hideous couches that seem to be causing some angst.
