I had the very same reaction. Safety first with wax play - different types of wax melt at different temperatures. Test on yourself to check the temperature.

They can, but hunt around and you can find the appropriate type: better options are shea butter, soy, or paraffin candles. The other consideration, some people are skin sensitive to additives, so check that.

My original comment is on the basis you know these matters and what to look for.

There should be no need to include a consumer warning to the post!

Given the general porn-style education around most kink, IE - "It's fun! Try it!", I'm going to disagree about the need. I'm sorry if this upsets you, not my intent - I just don't want Bettie-Sue & Tommy's first try at kink to drive them away, or worse send 'em to the ER.

I try to remember there are lots of lurkers here and people just embarking on kinky life stuff. It's easy to get caught up in the sexy and not realize there are real safety considerations.
If you had posted the image without comment, I would not expect a safety warning... however adding the scented candle language does IMHO- most scented candles do burn hotter than average, and I would not expect a noob to know that. Scented candles are everywhere this time of year.

I have some E-Stim nipple clamps waiting to be tried out... that said, many times, I've tested 220V circuits with the back of my hand, but I will have my Domme Wife present for testing, to pull the wires from the clamps if needed. Lol
