Still hasn't signed the ethics agreement and still refuses to have the FBI do background checks on his nominees
At this point there is no transition. Just a bunch of words from 47
As I said ....until he signs the ethics agreement, nothing is happening. There is no transition.Won't be any FBI background checks until Trump takes over. Who trusts the FBI?
But the agreement does not appear to include the president-elect’s pledge to avoid conflicts of interest while in office, despite requirements under a renewed Presidential Transition Act he signed into law four years earlier.
After 2016? You're shitting me. Grow a few brain cells, Spidey. One has to wonder why Trump is so scared of transparency.
You can file an foia from the government. You cannot do so from a private investigator. After 2016? You're shitting me. Grow a few brain cells, Spidey.
47 is a lame duck on Jan 20.This transition is actually very interesting in a way that I'm not sure is being fully appreciated.
Trump has world leaders on a string, he hasn't even taking over and he's making calls, taking names, and they're flying in and kissing the ring. The latest being Trudeau, who actually flew to Florida to have dinner with him and discuss how Canada will fall into line.
Biden is not even a lame duck, he may as well just hand over now. Nobody's paying any attention to him. That, and Trump is appointing a cabinet that would have gotten him shot at in 2016. LOL.
I’m very serious. What is TRump so afraid people will find out? After 2016? You're shitting me. Grow a few brain cells, Spidey.
Trump signed the law to require presidential ethics pledges. Now he is exempting himself from it
I didn't see that he signed it this week.
The Senate will likely balk at signoff from nominees not checked by the FBI
He'll likely sail through the sure things that have already been vetted from previous roles. He's gonna be stuck with limited acting roles for the rest. The Senate can balk all they like. Those nominees are going through via recess appointments and the RINO's are being identified and the primaries lined up.
Are you moving MAGA voters into their states? That would be an interesting move. Cornyn has won re election multiple times....and it's not because of MAGA. He's not up for reelection until 2028Cornyn is already in the crosshairs and he'll be gone next election. Others are going to follow. They can repent and join the team, or they can be cast out into the political wilderness with their time up.
Americans are stupid.
Btw - recess appointments aren't going to happen. The Senate can balk all they like. Those nominees are going through via recess appointments and the RINO's are being identified and the primaries lined up.

Feel free. We'll take Alberta in return.Americans are stupid.
Any chance Canada can annex Minnesota?
The Supreme Court agreed that the president could use the Adjournment Clause to force an adjournment long enough to make recess appointments, as long as there is a disagreement between the Senate and the House on when to adjourn. Johnston will be onside and Trump will ram it through. He'll likely sail through the sure things that have already been vetted from previous roles. He's gonna be stuck with limited acting roles for the rest.
Yeah, but I suspect with Paxton going up against him, Paxton will win. And yeah, 2028, but better 2028 than in another 20 years.....Are you moving MAGA voters into their states? That would be an interesting move. Cornyn has won re election multiple times....and it's not because of MAGA. He's not up for reelection until 2028

47 will be done by thenYeah, but I suspect with Paxton going up against him, Paxton will win. And yeah, 2028, but better 2028 than in another 20 years.....
Good luck!Getting rid of all these RINO's is an ongoing burden for the GOP but it has to happen to remake the party completely. It's good that they're making themlseves so easy to identify though. We can keep targeting them until they're gone.
One of the reasons I opened this thread....so we'd have a consistent thread to track all these points and discuss, rather than rather pointlessy opening multiple threads for every little news clip or news item (not naming anyone in particular - and certainly not you - LOL).Forced recess appointments won't happen.
Ah, but then it will be JD's turn......and Trump certainly picked him with an eye to the succession..47 will be done by then
Thank youGood luck!
As with the changes to the fillobuster has come back to bite Democrats. Forced recess appointments mean the next Democrat will do the same to appoint unvetted and unqualified people without any input from the American people. (And no, electing a President isn't the same as supporting their nominees)Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang is trying to normalize the DonOld’s bizarre, corrupt transition.
If a Democratic administration had done a single one of the abnormal and bizarre things that DoNd has done, the "republicans" would have lost their collective shit (which is a lot of shit).
Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang is a traitor and a clownish troll.

Side note:
I expect karma to continue making Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang’s life a living hell, until karma brings it to a properly horrific end.

You want the Senate to not have their consent. How very authoritarian of you.I would like to see it happen. You say it won't, but whether it will or not....Trump seems to have his sights set on recess appointments, and it may be the only way some of his more "controversial" appointments will make it through, so we will see. It's not like recess appointments haven't been used before, after all.
