Which is your longest story?

I submitted last night my longest story to date, 44K words, which I would guess should clock in at 10-12 Lit pages. Hoping it is up in a couple of days

My next longest story is
Jackin' Jacks, which is just shy of 18K words and 5 pages.

I have several 4 page efforts as well.

I rarely do things in the BDSM category, but I started my longest-ever story 'Confession of a Monster' as an experiment to see how evil a villain I could write. The opening reads, "The warden says if I confess all my crimes honestly, they'll take ten years off my sentence of 'Life plus 399'. He's obviously an idiot. Even 300 years off would make no real difference. But I'm bored, so why not?"

I originally intended for it to a be a two or three-page short story, but things spiraled out of control. In just a three-day weekend, I wrote 16 chapters and 1/4 million words, then posted it on another site. LIT doesn't allow the level of... 'badness' it contained. I wasn't surprised it only got a rating of 2.9 out of 10. Most people looking for porn stories don't like finding something akin to 'Silence of the Lambs' by accident. Chapter 1 got about 20k views. Chapter 2 was only read by about 1,200. Nearly all the 150 people that continued to chapter 3 read all 16 chapters, and they scare me a little.
-nervous laughter-

After a few months I took the story down. 98 out of 100 people wouldn't like it, and I didn't want to encourage the other two.

As for a continuous story, my Mary and Alvin series is 36 chapters, totaling about 350k words. My longest single submission is Isabel, which runs 71k words, 20 Lit pages.

My most recent story is Tiny Tina's Teacake, clocking in at a bit over 47,000 words and 14 Lit pages. Didn't really intend for that to happen. I was aiming for the 20k range, and it just kinda... Exploded. Aliss and Tina's romance just needed to be one of those slow build-ups.

But if chaptered counts, then Toofy is complete at a little over 225,000 words. And twenty four chapters, after the name of the protagonist, Twenty Four. That took a hell of a lot of planning, to get right.

One of my Mike & Karen chapters clocks in at around 53k words, and quite a few are close to that.

Like MelissaBaby, my longest continuous story “UCLA To Big D” is about 350k in 18 chapters. Otherwise my longest chapter is about 22k.

Deep Undercover. Three chapters totaling between 56-60,000 words. I don't remember precisely.

My longest one shot story here is The Return of Molly Minx

29 Lit pages because it was a contest entry and had to be a stand alone.

Longest though is Siblings with Benefits 39 chapters, a 5 chapter spin off that fills the gaps between two sections of the original and at one point a 5 part finale I since pulled after one chapter was banned for BS reasons.

According to the totals of the 8 e-books that comprise this series its over 900k, minus the 5 I removed that would leave about 750k here.

Written in Blood comes in at 30+ words. Under my Millie Dynamite pen name, that is my longest work. As a ghostwriter, 92,372 words is my longest story to date. Under a different pen name and pulled down as of a month ago, 110,000 on a horror story that needs a significant rewrite.

My longest story is Fishing Trip at just under 20k words. Just about leaving novelette territory and getting into novellas.

It is also my least successful story. I think because I posted it with a category of lesbian sex. Two thirds of it is indeed lesbian sex (if you include anal fisting that is). But the last third gets into Incest / threesome territory (after all I am the author). So - now better knowing how things work round here - it should have been in Incest / Taboo.

We live and learn.

My Loving Wives story 'Cheating On A Cheating Wife' about a creepy cuckold husband who is treated like shit by his cheating wife runs for 16 pages.

Were the LW fans pleased with me for posting a 16 page story? Not exactly, in fact they seemed to think of it as an act of provocation.

My longest work, over seventeen chapters, is my take on the Arthurian myth, The Dark Chronicles, at 104,000 words.

My longest stand-alone story is Songs of Seduction - Fire and Ice, which comes in at 33,000 words (sci-fi, with world building and an alien), next down, I think, is Songs of Seduction - Silk and Skin, around 27k.

The thematic relationship of these Songs is their study of different sexualities - the first Song, Water, is one of my (personal view) best stories, only 8k words - it's my first transgender story. Silk and Skin features a trans character, who lived on in one of Stickygirl's stories, so that's the strongest affirmation I could ever have, that I wrote a good character.

I've tried keeping stories under 10K words, but that's changing... Lit readers prefer longer works.

So far, my longest stand-alone story is last year's Summer Lovin' entry Seaside with Two Sisters at 9,885 words.

My wordiest series is On the Side weighing in at 38,313 words over 3 chapters, the last of which is 15,373 words.

The story I've been crafting for Pink Orchid Nude Day Geek Pride Summer Lovin' 2022 (or maybe Christmas) is shaping up to be 15k words too.

Longest single submission: Express Delivery, at 104,000 and change words.
Longest overall: Mud & Magic, 342,000-ish words in 15 chapters or 12 submissions, because chapters 1-3 were delivered as my 2019 Geek Pride Day entry.
Many of my other stories easily hit the 50k words mark, like "Rembrandt Legacy". I love world and character building and that's usually wordy business.

If someone were to binge my stuff, they could spend at least a weekend on the first two alone - and complain bitterly how I disgusted them by either being too deviant or too brutal. It's hard not to piss off someone these days.

Most of the LW 'readers' who one-bomb and post ugly comments are LW-only writers trying to make their own works look better by comparison. Don't let the LW troll swamp dampen your spirits.

My longest single story is Predators, my Geek Pride 2021 entry, at just over 73,000 words and 21 Lit pages. That's just ahead of Adrift in Space, at just under 70,000 words.

My ongoing chaptered story beginning with Chronicle: Mel and Chris ch 01 is at five chapters and about 125K words, although strictly speaking it's a continuation of the three chapter story that began with Mel's Phone Call and adds about 35,000 words.

When competently written, kinky and twisted stories can be extremely hot. Please keep doing what you do! I've seen far too many with, 'Man and woman get married then do it quietly in the dark.' There should be a fetish category for 'Boring blah vanilla' or 'Another tedious repeat'.

Written for Lit, about 10,000 words. Published on lit, about 125,000 words. My comfort zone is in the range 100,000 to 150,000, but non-erotic material.

I had never actually added up the word counts before, but my 8-chapter My Mom Is A Hot Mom series comes to 83,000 words.

My longest standalone story is Snow White, my last story, with 24,500 words.

Cricket anyone? India vs Australia is my longest at 44k. A fair few are between 20-30k. It's currently sitting at 4.84, so the unlucky 13 pages doesn't seem to have put anyone off.

I haven't done a chaptered series, but some stories do follow on from each other but can stand alone.

Major correction and my apologies - I checked and the 'Confession of a Monster' word count is actually a bit over 70k. Sorry for my declining memory as time drags me into old age kicking and screaming. 70k words took about 8 pots of coffee and 60 hours, not including any editing.

My longest single entry is 'Behind the Black Door', an incest story where the British prime minister is shagging his daughter. It clocks in at more than 40-thousand words…

https://literotica.com/s/behind-the-black-door

But the longest story is my two-parter, 'Insatiable', which has a combined word count of around 47-thousand words…

https://literotica.com/s/insatiable-20

https://literotica.com/s/insatiable-ch-02-1

I really was quite productive when I first started. In a period of roughly eighteen months, I wrote somewhere in the region of 275-thousand words, which is the equivalent of around four full-length novels.
