I've had this text in my profile for more than a week now:
"User avatar uploaded successfully and waiting for moderation."

Is that normal? Or do I need to do something more?

I submitted my photo a few days ago and it says that for me, too. I think we just need to wait. A story of mine got published in a shorter amount of time, so maybe it's a different team/individual who approves photos.

Following though, just in case I'm wrong.

I’ve tried loading an Avatar. Nothing happens. I go back and nothing there. It looks ridiculous that I’ve been writing for months with only the “Big L.”

Hi luv2custrip. The moderators don't control the uploading of Avatars, I'm sorry you're having trouble. You might try the Literotica Tech Support forum at the top of the list. Best of luck.
