This is going to be my workshop to try to flesh out some more detailed ideas for my rabbithole roleplays.

Constructive criticism, suggestions, inspiration taken or given, and random friendliness are all welcome. Just know that I'm mostly in this thread to tinker.

Magic Portals.

These are the classic rabbithole. The trope naming actual rabbit hole Alice fell into Wonderland, the Wardrobe in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. The tornado in the Wizard of Oz. Dante wandered into one and took a tour of heaven and hell.

I'd like to avoid being transported into a D&D style, kitchen-sinky fantasy world where every imaginable fantasy trope exists. Where there are all the usual races, and Adventurers having Adventures because that's how they level up. I love that stuff, but it's not really sexy to me. Stay tuned for a post where I describe looking for EXACTLY this, and welcome to the wonderful world of contradictions that is my head.

I far prefer fantasy scenarios that focus on a single fantastic element.

Maybe I'm in a faerie realm and King Oberon wants me for his own, or maybe someone else? I personally love the fae as creepy, erotic, charming sociopaths. I love the "I won't say anything that isn't true, but I will tell you true things to completely mislead you." I love the moody, beautiful, alien creatures that inhabit this other realm that you can find yourself in completely by accident.

Or drop me in The Labyrinth with The Minotaur. Because in the context of the world we're building, the place and the person are unique. Hell, maybe it's even on Crete. And then we can give some time and attention to this singular element and make it matter, rather than opening doors and finding a new fantastic creature behind each one.

Or maybe something not taken from the pages of ancient myth. Maybe I am in a barbarian world where the tribes are being overrun by the demonic armies of a terrible sorcerer. I know, it sounds very D&D, but there's just one really powerful magical element, and the rest of the world is more or less normal. There isn't a whole different race with a culture independent of it's neighbors around every corner.

Out of the Asylum

The premise of this story is that my character was committed to a mental hospital. Her diagnosis was probably something relatively simple like depression. The head of the hospital, or her doctor maybe, found her attractive, and started adding aphrodisiacs to her medications before her daily sessions. The "treatments" threw her even further off, as she experiences chemically induced highs and corresponding crashes.

But someone blew the whistle, and the place was closed down.

Rather than relocating her, she is simply let out with little to no fanfare, completely addicted to sex, willing to do nearly any man who asks, taking risks ordinary women would never even think of. Looking for a partner ready to get into the weird, dark places. Preferably multiple characters, but a sufficiently strange guy could work as solo.

Castaway - this is more of a reverse rabbithole - where the real world is the rabbithole.

Our heroine was in a plane crash fourteen years ago, and found herself on a deserted, tropical island. She was four at the time of the crash, eighteen now, but she has had no human contact for more than a decade. She hasn't worn clothes or spoken to anyone, and has the emotional intelligence of a child. She is utterly starved for human contact, however, completely innocent to sexuality, though once that side of her self is awakened, her appetite will be nearly insatiable.

He is a guy who is looking for valuable something off the beaten path and stumbles across her island. He finds her and rescues her and has to help her enter civilization.

The Starlet
This would be the story of a young woman's introduction to and adventures in sex work. It is super not-original, so let's just get over that.
It would be episodic, with different male costars, producers, etc. I expect it starts with an amateur, girl-on-the-street scene where she's offered cash to flash, then strip, then eventually come back to the apartment where she fucks on film. In this scene, we pretend those aren't totally staged. This can be followed by a follow-up call when her video does well, or by a casting couch scene, or another faux amateur type scene.
It can be played as a horny romp, or it can explore the dark side, the coercive aspects, the exploitation, the drugs and whatever.
Will she also dance at strip clubs? Do escort work? Have a boyfriend, or struggle trying to find a guy who accepts her career?
