The South Korean President seems to think so.

Why? Credit for Korea?

Korea isn't a done deal, but it's nice to see good progress.

Some of us non-Americans think the guy is bat-shit-crazy and wouldn't leave him alone with the drinks cabinet/wife/nuclear button for all the tea in Korea!;)

The Nobel Committee might want to defer any decision until we see what’s in Mike’s files and taped phone calls.

The drinks cabinet is safe. His brother died of alcoholism and he's never touched a drop.

More hyperbole about him being trigger-happy with nukes? Drama queens  He's no more or less likely to push the button than any other President.

I wouldn't trust him as a husband for all the tea in China, let alone all the tea in Korea. Poor Melania.

Anyone knows the link to some online betting system for this stuff?

I read somewhere that the odds are 2:1 Trump and Kim Jong Un :)rolleyes:), so I want to bet 50$ on the Pope.
Not that I care about any of these assclowns.

I'm still trying to figure out how threatening someone with a "bigger button" gets you a Peace Prize.

how about we wait a year and see how it plays out. IF the meeting takes place and IF kim makes concessions, there might be reason.

if the meeting doesn't take place or if kim uses his new alliance with china and sk to make a list of demands that cheetolini will be forced to accept, then kim should get the peace prize.

it amazes me that people are stupid enough to think that kim, whose family has been in power for how long? and who is ruthless enough to have his half brother murdered, is going to roll over for a tummy rub from trump.

do you honestly think that kim doesn't have the whole process planned out to maximize his power position?

Too soon to tell.
Most of us have seen this game played before by the Kim Dynasty.

That's why I made the poll open for 365 days. I'll bump it up now and again.

But Moon seems confident enough to say so now, so I think it's a fair time to ask.

I think Moon is a pie-in-the-sky type of believer in the absolute good of every person.
Lil' Kim knows exactly who he is playing having been educated in Switzerland.

Wondering if our president has read this?

A petty, vindictive pathological liar isn't more likely than to push the button than any other president?

Trump is rewarding Un for bad behaviour and it will be a message to other countries that they can nuke themselves to American respectability.

But as I post this, I'm thinking, why should I be terribly bothered by it. First—his idiotic protectionism notwithstanding—Trump's more your problem than mine. Second, when Iran detonates its first nuke, it will be more an American problem than Canadian. More so a European problem, and even more an Israeli problem.

Well, if he manages to broker peace with North Korea and the rest of the world they
(The Norwegian Nobel Committee) are going to have some real explaining to do if they do not give him one!

"Since March 1901,it has been awarded annually (with some exceptions) to those who have "done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses".
