I don't ever remember seeing your pseud-name on a comment. Perhaps you used Anon as your name when talking to me. Then again, if you were as rude in your comments to me as you have been with others, you got deleted.
I read certain categories daily. Well, to be honest, when I am available to read. Most categories I do not even look at titles. Loving wives, nonconsent, bdsm, fetish and even incest I peruse for authors I know or a story that might catch my interest. I venture into a few others when one of my beta readers who are also authors post there. Sometimes, I read what an author has posted here about his or her insight and I read several of their stories. I do not follow anybody. I have read a few of yours Millie when they fell into categories i follow. You'll have to ask Spleen, my toadie, to tell us which ones and if I commented, because I honestly cannot remember. I often have to begin to read a story to remember I read it. Many times I go ahead to read it and enjoy it again.
I look for good writing, plot development, something to keep me interested. Personally, I skip through sex scenes.
Almost 45 years ago, I remember a line from a fellow soldier describing porn,,,"Argghhh she cried as i pounded my python piston of lust into her pulsating pit of passion" I do not care for that crap. If you do, fine. I'll skip over those scenes if the rest is not too 'flowery'.
But Millie to answer your question in a more succinct manner. Within certain areas, I read, I write and I comment. I give new authors some slack (usually) and then some advice.
