Okay, now, it's quiz time!

Let's say you're eating, say, a M&M, and it melts in your mouth. Explain why it's not melting at 100 degrees Celsius.

OK don't know how detailed you want this..
the melting point of chocolate (main ingredient in M&Ms) is much lower than the ****Boiling****(liquid to gas change point, not melting, solid change to liquid point) of water (which MELTS at anything above 0 degrees Celsius )

btw--chocolate has a melting point of somewhere around high 80's-low 90's degrees Fahrenheit, i dont know the exact conversion but i thinnk thats somewhere in the 70's Celsius.

86.F = 30ºC ;)

The human body temperature is usually around 36ºC (96-ish?), so if chocolate were to melt only at 70ºC, it wouldn't be much fun to eat... :D

That's cute, but it's wrong.
The correct answer is: Because it's not that hot in your mouth.

I asked why the chocolate wouldn't be melting at that temperature in your mouth, not what temperature it melted at.
So, the correct answer is: Because it's not that hot in your mouth.
And, if it was, you'd be dead, so you wouldn't be eating anything anyway.

Thanks for trying, and have this lovely parting gift! *swats*

Sesshomaru is still around ... He also has a bone to pick with Naraku ... Who is the real main baddie of the series ... Hey w/o him all the stuff to Kikyo & Inu Yasha would not have happened in the 1st place ... Oops maybe I said too much ... I don't see Sesshomaru & Inu Yasha being best buds anytime in the near future ... too much bad blood & hatred between them ...

*Drops down onto Shoto's lap in cat girl form*

I can top yer lap ... *rubs her cheek against his chest*

Um...would late purr help? :devil: *Kisses your face while caressing your hair*

Thanks for the clear up but I guess it was a lil too late for that. I finally saw the ending of Trigun. Very nice. Are they gonna show anymore after the battle bet. Vash & Knives? I doubt it... and lets keep it that way. No?

Hey all my people say "Hey!"
