Protesters for the Right, protesters for the Left, Black Lives Matter supporters, Gun Rights open carry in public, and an army of police officers in full tactical gear.

What could possibly go wrong ?

The 911 caller told the dispatcher that Rice was "probably a juvenile" and that the gun he was seen brandishing was likely fake, yet the dispatcher didn't pass on that seemingly crucial information.

Surveillance footage shows that fewer than two seconds passed from when the police car reached Rice until Loehmann opened fire.

Tamir Rice was 12 years old. He was trying to show the police that his gun was a toy.The pre teen was pulling the toy gun out of his waist band to show them it was not a real gun.

It wasn’t until after the weapon was recovered that investigators determined it was a BB gun.

Detective Steve Loomis, who made national headlines when he called 12-year-old Tamir Rice “menacing” after the pre-teen was gunned down in 2014 by a fellow Cleveland cop.

The same Detective Steve Loomis made a statement, before all of the facts were even in following the shooting deaths of three Baton Rouge policemen on Sunday, the head of Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association blamed President Barack Obama for the spate of cop killings.

If this detective is the head of the Police Association, does he speak for most of the Cleveland police, when he said-

"It's absolutely insane that we have a president of the United States and a governor of Minnesota making the statements they made less than one day after the police-involved shootings," said an emotional Loomis.

"And those police-involved shootings, make no mistake, are what absolutely have triggered this rash of senseless murders of law enforcement officers across this country. It's reprehensible. And the president of the United States has blood on his hands that will not be able to come washed off."

gsgs comment

This police officer, speaking for the police officers of Cleveland, is accusing President Obama directly, for causing the deaths of police officers.

Do police officers prefer that we ignore the fact that black men and women are dying because they did nothing to deserve getting shot to death ?

Will this "policemen's blood on President Obama's hands, result in double the resolve of the militarized police in Cleveland to punish all minorities, for the acts of a few confused, mentally ill men ?

Why do the police officers insist on missing the point ? Most white people enjoy the full protection of the law, even after they commit mass murder.

Peaceful protesters have had assault rifles pointed at them, while the police officer screamed, "I will fucking kill you!" His fellow officers had to pull him away, and send him somewhere, else. They knew they had to follow the law. He did not, because he was allowed to behave like that, where he normally worked as a police officer. To this day, he is still upset that he lost his job over something so minor.

Before the police officers were murdered in Baton Rouge, the police officers were being egged on by their fellow officers, to be brutal as possible. Peaceful protesters were injured because the police were taking out their aggression on people who could not fight back. Why did these police officers feel entitled to intentionally inflict pain and damage ?

Will Cleveland police officers feel twice as entitled to be twice as brutal, now that one of their own has given them justification for revenge ?

Will protesters be slaughtered in a mass murder committed by police officers, because a gun accidentically gets fired ?

Jul 18, 2016 Open carry gun rights cause jitters at Republican convention

Even gun rights advocates are questioning whether people should be allowed to carry rifles and handguns during protests at this week's Republican National Convention in Cleveland in the wake of the shootings of six police officers in Baton Rouge.

Backers as well as opponents of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump have expressed concerns about the prospect of weapons being carried in open sight around the convention site.

Mr.HWMNBN, the amoral/ immoral opportunist, grabs the chance on July 11th to announce that “I am the law and order "Law and Order" candidate.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie introduced Trump on Monday, calling for “a return to law and order."

"Law and Order" is a dog whistle was used by George Wallace.

Wallace stood in the doorway to block the admission of two black young people to the University of Alabama. Wallace shouted: "Segregation now! Segregation tomorrow! Segregation forever!"

"Law and Order" was used against minority protesters that were seeking social justice, protesters that wanted the war to stop, and college students that wanted to have a voice in their government.

Sixty Minutes interview with Mike Pence and Trump

Mr. HWMNBN's boot is firmly pressing on Mike Pence's neck.

Pence speaks when he is allowed to speak.

Woe, to him, that gets in the way of Mr. HWMNBN's spotlight.

United and in agreement ?

Just as a dog and his master, are united.

Drop 0ut, Pence, before it is too late!

The Tamir Rice shooting is what convinced me that the US police have a huge problem with fear and racism. Poor little kid. 12 fucking years old!

Quite a few cops killing blacks have some justification. The Ferguson shooting, the guy who advanced with his hand behind his back (in the US best assume anyone is armed with a gun).

Shooting a twelve year old and not securing a prisoner properly in the back of a paddy wagon are just plain criminal.

I'm a law and order guy way above what you Yanks think of as law and order. And generally support the police. If you don't drop the knife when a cop says drop it, it's suicide by cop as far as I'm concerned.

US police live in constant fear of their lives due to the guns available to the US public. I'm not surprised they shoot first and ask questions later. Doesn't make it right but does not surprise me.

As long as the Yanks have a love affair with their guns this will only get worse. And targeting cops in revenge will only fuel their fears and mistrust.

I have a genuine fear for deaf people, people with earphones in and those who don't know English, who might be exercising their 2nd Amendment rights and failing to obey the police commands.

Watching CNBC fawning over any disrupting element in Cleveland shows you all you need to know about their agenda. The jig is up. The good people.of America will soon be having their say. The elite have been marching down Main Street with no clothes. It's time to "tag them on Facebook".

The best bet might be to let them all in and then lock the doors. Let them have it out like the Kilkenny cats.

There wanst was two cats of Kilkenny
Each thought there was one cat too many
So they fought and they fit
And they scratched and they bit
'Til instead of two cats there weren't any.

Unwarranted and violent arrests of blind, deaf, speech impaired people by police ?

People perfectly capable of speaking clearly and hearing commands are killed for existing and breathing.

Collateral damage, in the war on liberal Democrats.

Earlier this year, lawyers for the city argued that an arrest was neither a “service, program, or activity,” and therefore did not fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act, according to Courthouse News. But U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni found the city’s argument woefully unpersuasive.

“New York City takes the extraordinary position that, even though the Americans with Disabilities Act has been the law of the land for 25 years, it has no obligation to provide any accommodation to the hearing-impaired at the time of an arrest, even if doing so could easily be accomplished without endangering the officers or the public safety and without interfering in the lawful execution of the officers’ duties,” she wrote in an August decision, allowing the lawsuit to proceed to trial.

Millions are paid out to victims, by most cities.

Looks like the CO delegates pulled out for a doobie break.

What's good for the goose....

If encouraging lots of citizens to carry automatic weapons makes us safer, then why are guns banned inside the Convention? Are politicians the only ones who deserve protection from the stray nut who was legally allowed to purchase a gun?

If these pro-gun politicians believe that carrying a gun everywhere is the public's solution to gun violence, then why is this solution not applied at their conventions? After all, they could carry a gun to "defend themselves" just as we are now apparently expected to do.

I understand that the gun ban in the arena is imposed by the Secret Service.

I understand that the gun ban in the arena is imposed by the Secret Service.

The Secret Service is government, and government is the root of all problems in this country. They should be privatized, and those of us with means and power would have the ability to hire our own private firms to protect us.

It's a dog-eat-dog world, Phrodeau. Trump and the Repubs could have privatized all aspects of the convention, not just the aspects that protect them from nuts with guns.

So you think that the GOP should have hired their own security service that would allow open carry in the arena? Is there such a thing? Who would bond them? Who would insure them? Would the arena allow such a thing?

Definitely, yes, they should have privatized all aspects of the Convention and allowed both concealed and open carrying of firearms, including assault rifles.

And, dammit, don't bother me with details.

Good thing guns are banned, with nuts like this in attendance.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...p-hillary-clinton_us_578fa150e4b07c722ebd2fd1

Al Baldasaro, a New Hampshire state representative and delegate for the Republican presidential nominee, made the comments during an interview on “The Kuhner Report” radio show on Tuesday.

“[Clinton] is a disgrace for the lies that she told those mothers about their children that got killed over there in Benghazi. She dropped the ball on over 400 emails requesting back up security. Something’s wrong there,” he continued.

“This whole thing disgusts me,” Baldasaro added. “Hillary Clinton should be put in the firing line and shot for treason.”

BuzzFeed News first reported Baldasaro’s comments. On Wednesday, he stood by them, telling ABC affiliate WMUR that “As far as I’m concerned, it is treason and the penalty for treason is the firing squad ― or maybe it’s the electric chair now.”

The U.S. Secret Service said it is aware of Baldasaro’s comments and will conduct “the appropriate investigation,” Politico reported.

With all the security present, there is no point in exercising your open carry right, unless you want attention or trying to provoke a response.

I understand why guns would be banned at the Democratic Convention, but after all these years of Republicans telling us that carrying a gun is the main solution to defending yourself from nuts who have ready access to assault weapons, I still have to wonder why these folks are not more assertive about applying this social prescription at their own convention.

I think they are glad to have the Secret Service excuse-- "Gee, I would surely defend your right to be armed at all times, but gosh, our hands are tied by those dog-gone federal bureaucrats. And besides, I'm an important delegate, so my life is worth more than that of the unwashed masses."

Fortunately for Ted Cruz, guns are banned!

Right-wingers have online meltdown after ‘backstabbing rat’ Cruz won’t endorse Trump
Earlier Wednesday, New Jersey governor Chris Christie said that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) had a responsibility to endorse GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. It didn’t happen. In fact, Cruz repeated language used by the #NeverTrump movement that delegates should “vote their conscious.” Yet, not even Newt Gingrich could calm them down.

Not only did Cruz draw boos and a tense moment on the RNC floor, he incited a right-wing Twitter meltdown.

The audience was so furious that Cruz’s wife Heidi had to be escorted out by security.

Maybe hes not a spineless shit?

Furious Mike Huckabee rips into ‘self-absorbed’ Ted Cruz for betraying Trump at convention

Defiant Ted Cruz defends Trump snub: I won’t ‘come like a servile puppy dog’ if you attack my family

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was as defiant as ever with Texas GOP delegates during a Thursday morning breakfast meeting, even as they scolded him for not endorsing Republican nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday night.

Specifically, Cruz referenced controversies that have still smoldered even after the end of the Republican primaries.

Cruz said that it’s not in his nature to obey “like a servile puppy dog” and endorse a man who made fun of his wife’s appearance and insinuated his father had something to do with the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963.

“I’m not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father,” he said.

Cruz’s statement was met with applause from the audience of Texas delegates.

Guns are banned at the convention. Please catch up.

I know that, but they ae not banned in the area surrounding the convention, where the demonstrations are being held.

Oh, as long as the Republicans dig in their heels on gun control, I think open carry--and anything else they support along those lines, presence of assault rifles and it all--should be permitted on the convention floor. They should have to face up to what they force on everyone else.

When you tell the average US citizen that cops in London don't carry guns and that the police must radio in for a special armed unit you can see the horror in their eyes.

If you thought how the police acted was awful in the Tamir Rice shooting the prosecutors office's actions were just as horrible.

OK, so how many people have been shot in the rest of the nation?

Considering the convention used Rolling Stones music I guess these guys would have been a good choice for security.
