I returned to Aurora Skye with this one. This time, it's less of a straight ahead portrait from photo reference and more of a heightened depiction based on many photos plus her overall vibe. I'm not educated enough in art history to say this with a lot of confidence, but I might call this the more impressionistic side of drawing, in that it's more of an attempt to capture my perception of her and the feelings she creates with her work.

Codi Vore again. I did use a photo reference, but, as with the more recent Aurora Skye portrait, I was still trying to work impressionistically. I was trying to play up the hypnotic quality of her eyes, her Cheshire cat mouth, her soft body, the fluffiness of her pubic hair.

Here's something I'd never attempted before: a multi-panel, comic style illustration of a whole scene, using a reference video rather than a reference photo. The performers are Finny of Finny's Playhouse and Stella Daniels, who, as far as I can tell, have appeared multiple times on camera together and have incredible chemistry.

Zy again. His response to the previous drawing was so enthusiastic that I figured I'd draw a proper one. Leaning into the impressionistic/cartoony/whatever you want to call it again, bringing up the distinctive features and trying to capture as much of the uniqueness of his beauty as possible.

This is Jadynn Stone, based on a reference photo that struck me with how the lighting played with her body--soft, dark, but strongly directional. I tried to capture that effect, but the technique isn't quite there. This is one drawing where I think it might be best to attempt it again, now that I've had more practice, because the photo really is beautiful.

The man known to me only as Stuudz. I enjoy drawing soft bodies and I enjoy drawing body hair. (Pubic or otherwise!) I find it helpful as an artist to learn how to imitate the way light interacts with those characteristics, I think it's important to lean against the way art and other media tend to represent only variations of the same mid-20s hard body type, and I also like the challenge of capturing the sensory experience of squishy flesh and hairy parts. Round and soft are pleasure words, and that goes doubly for erotica.

This is Tina Horn, a true renaissance artist who has done sex work, hosted a popular podcast, written books (fiction and non-fiction), and is an all-around expert and resource on kink. The reference I used is from one of her appearances on Crash Pad, and the quote is taken from something she said on Twitter that has stuck with me forever.
I tried hard to capture her playful side, which I think was modestly successful, though... not to be crude, but she has really lovely tits and I got them wrong here. Like the Jadynn Stone one, this one might warrant a redraw.
This might be the last drawing I'll post from 2022, after which I'll try to catch up with more recent stuff from this year.

This is Maria Moans again. The story behind this reference photo is that I knew from the moment I saw it that I wanted to draw it, but I didn't save it and I couldn't remember where I'd seen it online. (Artist folks: save your reference photos!) I initially tried to recreate the pose using a combination of memory and other photos of her, which was not very successful and ended up being my last drawing of 2022.
As luck would have it, more or less right when I finished the first attempt, I found the actual photo at last and did the whole thing over again. This is the result. My first drawing of this year.

Drawn from a rare and precious full frontal nude of Bettie Page, whose devil grin and distinctive body type I did my very best to capture and heighten in a sort of blend of life drawing and Archie Comics cartooning. She had the best hips and the best pubic hair on the planet, and I'm not sure which was more fun to draw.

Rex Behr and Shyla Nervous, drawn from a still frame from a home video. I thought this was so sweet and sexy. Despite being so much larger than her, Rex has such a gentleness about his physicality, yet he's more than up to the task of hoisting his beloved by her hips and thighs.

Iris Skye, AKA Frecks and Frames again. By her description, the outfit in the reference photo was her favorite of 2022. (I can see why.) It's a risk to use this kind of density of line in a portrait. It's a rule of thumb that using more lines can take a drawing out of the realm of beauty and into the realm of the grotesque. But I wanted to capture the reality, or even the hyperreality, of all the little wonderful things about her torso--her pubic hair, the fat distribution of her tummy, her tattoos, her rippling stretch marks. Unique, like a fingerprint.

Referencing one of my favorite images, a group shot of Berri, Faye, and Tetra. I'm actually not a huge fan of this drawing. I think I stuck too close to the reality of the photograph and didn't do enough to bring out the softness and the coy sexual magnetism.
I guess I knew I had to draw it and just didn't put the thought in when the time came. Maybe grounds for a redraw? Who knows?

Maria Moans again. I drew this at a time when she was having a rough go of it, so hopefully she's feeling better, wherever she is and whatever she's up to. This is another of those images that was immediately arresting. There's always room for improvement, but I like to think I did a good job.

True to my word, I took another shot at this image of Tina Horn, who, as ever, makes my queer little heart go a pitter patter. I reused the parts I liked and made another run at the bits I thought didn't reflect her basic essence--her hair, her tits. It's a little more off the cuff, but I think it's closer to the truth.

I decided to take a break from working on my Summer Lovin' story to draw something new. This is taken from a video of Madison Springs taking a shower. On the surface, she's a normatively beautiful young woman, which isn't the most interesting thing to draw. (If you want to see an alluring depiction of a young, white, thin, blonde cis woman, try looking... anywhere.) But Springs has a certain physicality about her that I find very sexy, and in this video, her body and all its features catches light and shadow in a way that appealed to me.

This is Nyxie Knight. As is often the case, I didn't include her tattoos, not because I dislike them. (The human body is a beautiful canvas for art... especially hers.) It basically means several whole additional drawings, it's hard--at least for me--to get them to look good in cartooning, and it means cribbing other artists' work. I had to content myself with merely drawing a soft, voluptuous woman with barely any clothes on.
