It occurred to me that some people who frequent the Personals often, I find absolutely obnoxious. One of them is Jada; in fact I find her the most destructive of all posters here. AP with her prominent tits is next, whereas Kim Gordon has become relatively quiet lately.
The worst feature of yakedy yak ladies like these: they attract other dimwits to join them, when they are in the process of dressing down somebody. This tendency of mindless and brainless Litsters to join some leader of the band, regardless of what song the band is playing, may be even more obnoxious than what the yakedy yak ladies are doing, so a lot of things come together, which then usually results in the hijacking of a particular thread.
It does not matter how a thread started, or how constructive the conversation might have been, before such a hijacking invasion started, once the swarm of seagulls led by Jada or AP, descends on a thread, exactly the same thing happens all the time then: the sea gulls crap all over the OP, or over someone else making a politically incorrect remark. And they do it as long as necessary to stop what happened on the thread before.
Such vile destructions of sensible conversations follow a pattern, and if Lit administrators wanted to, they could detect those and stop the destruction, but they seem too lazy for that. Or simply not competent enough.
I am just wondering what drives Jada et.al. to carry out their vile crusades. Probably they are bored at home, I guess, and rather than reading a good book, or cleaning the house, which would require an effort of sorts, they just start yakedy yaking out of the blue.
The whole thing is a censorship of sorts of course, telling observant Litsters: if you do not conform to Jada's or AP's ideas of acceptable thinking, you must watch out for a crapping invasion of sea gulls on your thread.
All of this happened to me lately, when I published my last Personal ad here (hopefully). I think it was a good ad, some people with a penchant for reading and understanding other people confirmed my own opinion, several women PMed me, and one of them became my "One and Only" soon thereafter.
But when the sea gulls came swarming in, led by Jada and AP, civilized conversation stopped and the crapping began. And then Shi_One came along, the current heroine of the Personals, who I had insulted once, when her arrogance on a thread she started became overbearing to me, and she retold her terrible story of suffering from my insulting words, with several "lemmings" chiming in.
To an observer of group think, my thread became an illustration of how three women were able to drive and dominate the goings on. Even Chris Michael, who had started out blasting AP to begin with, by making some true observations on her modus operandi, came around quick and joined the crapping. Probably because he figured his chances of scoring with a woman here eventually would increase this way. Who wants to side with a proven asshole, after all?
I found the whole show positively despicable. Someone starts out with an ad, and the conversation gests destroyed completely, by seagulls who fly in and know nothing but crapping. OK for me it did not matter so much; I had found my One and Only after all, early in the game. But what if I had not been so lucky?
In the good old days, we had the thought police at least, in the form of Equinox Rising, wo made sure no violation occurred of the Lit rule that incestuous lust must not begin before a protagonist reached the age of 18. Afterwards everything is fine and dandy, but never before. She could have retrained into a sea gull detector and stopped such obnoxious behavior perhaps, but equinox seems to have disappeared.
Kim Gordon could have stepped into the act also; for me she seems a basically fair person, with the exception of her feminism and her better-knower attitude sometimes. BUT NO, poor victims like me (ha ha) are now defenseless. Unless occasionally my "sock puppets" jump into the act, and write defense posts like Kristie tripleflip did lately on another thread, in defense of Jamie Littletoo.
Well I am OK with all this crapping, even though getting called an asshole over and over again gets on my nerves as well. But what about other people with less of a liking for fighting against crapping sea gulls? They may get scared away from ever posting anything controversial here, for fear of awakening Jada's or AP's eternal wrath.
