My Original Story was Rejected for "AI use"

Just as the title says, my very first story on here was Rejected because it "looked like it was written with AI." I was shocked and honestly pretty mad. I did not use any sort of AI or Grammarly; I wrote the whole story on my phone in the typing panel of the website. I spent months on this story only to be accused of dishonesty. Nothing makes me angrier than being accused of something I didn't do.

Has anyone else experienced this? It makes me not want to write any more stories.

I see no one has responded yet. Do a search in AH on "ai". There have been lots and lots of threads on the subject. But as far as I know no one has any good concrete advice about what to do about it. Some people have successfully appealed to Laurel. Others not successfully.
