Mine doesn’t always work….

:D:D

Several "Well that's outstanding" today.

Wife and I have had off and on minor health/emotion issues so we have not had sex together in over 9 months. :( - Today that changed :D

I have my prostate removed about 30 months ago and I have not had an un-aided erection since. Finally started using direct penis self-injected TriMix with good results. The TriMix is kept frozen and has a published shelf-life of 45 days but the pharmacist tells me 90 days should be just fine. My MD said "its frozen" could be good for much longer. The stuff I used today "expired" May 5, 2018 - but worked very well today. :D

I have not had an orgasm with Wife since my surgery. I can no longer ejaculate but have learned who to orgasm when I wank. But my head is a little messed up when Wife and I have sex - it works for her, but not for me.

But today I had my first BIG O while hard and fully "IN" WIFE. ::nana:

That's certain not grounds for a party. Congrats :D:nana::nana:

Definitely five dancing banana worthy. Perseverance pays.

Husband and I started on the BiMix roller coaster about three weeks ago. Still trying to figure out a dose that allows for penetration without resulting in him needing to take four Sudafed and ice down his cock in order to avoid the dreaded 4+ hour erection and subsequent ER visit. Then we will have 6-12 months of three times a week injections before we can hopefully just use tadalafil as needed.

But he’s cancer free, so I am not complaining.

The cancer free is a big deal, (me as well)

It took me around three months to get the dose about correct. (I may have to lower it just a tad given how long todays lasted.) And I have a box of Sudafed in my "make it hard" kit.

I wish I had kept using my pump every three days this past two years, I have had some muscle atrophy and therefor some size loss, not much, but enough for me to notice - but, hey, it all works just enough.

Wishing you and hubby all the best possible outcomes. :rose:

“Erection rehabilitation” is not letting us become complacent. BiMix dose that was working well is now not reliable. Of course, the first time it was not fully effective had to be a time that I joined him in the bedroom after the injection. I know that it’s not a reflection of my desirability, but it’s still frustrating. Of course, not nearly as frustrating as it is for him. Not being able to perform when and how he wants. Wondering if the medication will work again if we increase the dose. Worried that he may never be able to transition to a point where he doesn’t need to get an injection in his cock. Knowing, on a logical level, that we are so lucky that he is cancer free, that this medication exists, and that we can afford it.

I write this not to garner sympathy, but in the hope that it may help others going through a similar situation to feel less alone. I want to pay it forward, as there have been several posters here who made me feel less alone when we received the prostate cancer diagnosis. Who helped us know what to expect and gave us hope for a positive “new normal”. Especially the wonderful OP. Thanks, Shank.

I so understand. When I started to use TriMix self-injections my Dr. had me start low dose then work up to what I need/want. I've been at this dose for about two years now and it works. I don't expect I'll ever get to where I don't need TriMix for an erection. When I self-pleasure I do find that now about three years out from surgery I do get a little fuller - but would never be firm enough for penetration. The last time Wife and I messed around I had my first Big O with her. It all last takes time.

Someone in our cancer support group who uses self-injections has his wife give him the shot, they make it part of their foreplay.

Glad to see your post. :rose:

ps: Fuck You Cancer.....

I give the injections, as I have a medical background and my husband hates needles. He can barely watch me do it. While it is something that happens before we have sex, there is no way in hell that I could ever get him to refer to it as “foreplay”. :D

Fair enough....

My Sir has medical issues with caused ED. We have not had intercourse in 5 years, but do have a very satisfying sex life none the less. In fact that's part of what brought us into the lifestyle. And we only play with each other.

UPDATE (no "up" puns intended)

Despite following prostate cancer surgery 7 years ago that
1: saved my life,
2: removed my jizz making equipment and,
3: left me unable to get "up" without self injected-in-my-own-dick meds,
ps: (I did learn how to wank to orgasm without a hard-on)

yesterday I discovered that searching for and posting hot porn picks for several hours can still produce blue balls!!!!

So, there's that.

Carry on.
