Linux and CHYOO: Incompatible?

I am trying to access the site from my ubuntu laptop for the first time ever, but apparently when Linux sends a password, it is not received. All the happens is that the site reloads the login screen over and over.

What the heck could be causing this?

Could you be a little more specific?
If I understand you correctly you try to login on the chyoo main-site. And when you enter your Pseyudonym and Password and press login you aren't brought to "My home", but back to the main-site.

I doubt it has something to do with your OS.

What browser do you use? (Firefox, Opera, Konqueror, Internet Explorer)

I'm using Linux Mint and Opera and never had a problem with chyoo. As backup I always have a second browser (Firefox) installed, in case a site doesn't like opera or the other way around.
