Hi Ku Cat

i don't think your mum is counting
all you think you owe
as she has you to count on
for her needs, your love... she knows

woke early
caught the clouds kissing earth
in a secrecy of silence

so i left them their privacy
returned to my warm cocoon
spun dreams in shades between silver and green

ethereal blends
that washed away in bright sunlight
crisp blues
and a need to pee

pale, tawny tiger
with springs in legs too long
wiggles in piled, wet leaves
as chicks forage for damp treats
with kicks and pitched murmurs

wound tight, he spots the black hen
bigger than him & staring him down

he unwinds
bolts right
pretending the tree-trunk
was always his target

💨🍃

leaves tumble & chase
across grass, brick & tarmac

sun's told the wind 'blow harder'
pluck reluctant russet coins
the blonde & black-spotted
tenacious shades of seaweed and pickle

but though its limbs whip wildly
the Bradford's defiant
not yet ready to see her foliage fly

Seeing her walk across the yard,
plastic coffee tub in hand,
one of many, :coffee:
filled w/seed, offering to the dead plumb tree,
pruned to death, now sanctuary of bird feeders,
near empty in the cold of December,
over ground ever sloping on this hill,
and me playing solitaire infinity behind the window,
full heart at the gift of the sight,

The lights went up today,
on the tree, the walls,
across the top of our old entertainment console,
a tiny village sparkling, nestled on the red vellum cover above,
analogue radio, trap door phono, record stash,
Thirty eight square feet of shiny maple transformed.

I wanted to tell you how it made me feel but,
stacked thoughts tumbled with interruption after the first line.

your fingers plunge,
make spills and ripples.

my breath held,
your tongue flickers.

your soft touch,
my nipple tingles.

with a blinking shudder,
my soul anew, shimmers.

Loch ness knotting

One eyed little monster
a periscope she seized
released repeatedly
in the valley of her curls

Story Plot

There was a girl
There was a boy
deep in the forest
just over the hill
They grew old together
on sex and cheap thrills.
