What are things?

Things are anything, something, nothing, and the dreaded ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing (talk about chafing!)

These things are everywhere you point, and usually mentionable. They are not unmentionable, but unmentionables are things too, confusingly.

So. All that being said - what's confusing?

An inhabitant of Fangorn of limited historical relevance.

What's history?

What are lies?

"Lies" refers to the results of an unethical practice in golf. When a golfer's ball is lost in the rough or a water hazard, he or she will sometimes casually walk up to the green and drop a fresh ball near the cup, claiming it is the one they hit. The position of the ball is called a "lie."

What is a hazard?

A hazard is an initiation rite practiced in swingers' clubs.

What's wielding?

It refers to a system of strength training in which the trainee retires to a place far from civilization and spends weeks joining pieces of metal together. When they return and are questioned about their developed musculature, they reply that they've "been wielding." Weird, isn't it?

What are pieces?

A piece is a sheath (typically steel) moulded to fit the erect form of the cock it seals.

What is armour?

What is armour?

Ah! L'armour, it is the best thing in life! It is comforting, it is supportive, it leads one unto the highest pinnacles while dashing aside many of the cruel darts of fate. Its great weight and imponderability lead one to growth.

What is sarcasm?

Just as an orgasm is a paroxysm of the flesh, a sarcasm is a paroxysm of the spirit.

What is a spirit?

Concentration is the threading together of piercings, e.g., laced corset piercings.

What's a thread?

Traditionally in families with more than one male child, 'extra' sons would be sold off, sometimes several at a time. Price was typically quoted 'per son', contracted these days to 'person' and generally indicating the dowry expected in marriage.

What's a bouquet?

What is tea?

It's kinda complex; after all you can have high tea or tea that gets you high. It can be served with sympathy, often by some one who's just your cup of. Then again, they might not do that for all of it in China. But whether the party is in Boston or Wonderland, try to avoid any tempests in the pot.

What's a dormouse?
