Celosia or Cel as her friends call her had grown up in a very hard way, she was taught to fight for what she had, that life wasn't going to let you have what you want. If it did it it would come with a mighty price, funny thing however was she was known as a child of nature. She respected every piece of grace, asked permission to mother nature herself if she wanted to pluck a flower to take with her. She was into witchcraft*but didn't believe in it enough to actually do it. But it didn't stop her from enjoying her life, unfortunately*when she turned eighteen years old. She was getting into a car with her parents that would end up being part of an accident. The only thing she wanted for her birthday was to see Phantom Of The Opera in person with the best seats in the house. Her parents made it come true after three years of saving, they were heading to dinner when a drunk driver blasted through a red light.
Striking the front of the car with so much violence she was thrown from the car, someone was watching out for her because believe it or not she was a miracle. She had a bunch of scratches on her and no broken bones nothing. She remembered it very well to the point she had nightmares still from that night, seeing her parents burning up in the car and by the time help came the car was completely consumed. She remembered a man covering her up and helping her into the ambulance and she even still had his coat to this date wondering who he was since she never saw his face, or even got a chance to thank him and return his jacket which was pure leather and heavy so she knew it was very expensive. She had been told her parents were dead before the fire consumed the vehicle*which made her feel a little better that they didn't feel pain because they were already dead.
Her parents had very good life insurance so she would be able to live off it for a few years, so she made sure to spend it well and never show any sign she had forgotten where she came from even though she could do a lot with that kind of money. So after she graduated top of her high school class with a GPA of 4.0 she got into school she wanted to learn Chinese and their culture*because she always loved the sound of Mandarin it was always beautiful to her and never knew why. But there was one other thing she wanted to learn who to do and it was Kung Fu she had watched so many different movies showing how graceful it can be if done correctly. So because she wanted to do this she decided to get taught how to do it, but she would have no idea that it would help her meet her future husband, but as she got in she realized she would be the only white girl in the class which was something that worried her because some would take what she is trying to do disrespect of traditions.
But it wasn't something she wanted to do, not in the least she didn't believe in doing something like that. But they asked if she could stay and she nodded, she was in her everyday clothing anyway. She removed her jacket showing black leggings, sneakers, and a black tank top under all that and she sat down like everyone else, she was going off of movies but the kind that was based on real fighting. It was then the teacher came out and for the first time her eyes locked onto his and she saw he was looking right at her their eyes locked, this feeling came over her like a hammer to the side of the head it bothered her a little. But she looked down blushing, she heard him speak his Chinese accent a bit thick but his English was wonderful. Looking back up he wanted everyone to show him what they knew if anything, not many people knew a lot but when it was her turn she slowly stood up on her feet and one of Wei's people came right to the ring in front of her.
She made one hand flat and the other hand balled up as she slammed her fist into her hand she bowed showing the proper respect. She closed her eyes at first trying to gather her thoughts figuring out what to show or what not to show and she knew she could be punched rather accident or not. So many things ran through her head but she was thinking about what she had been told growing up, life could be a bitch that everyone knew but she tapped into the loss of her parents and it was enough for her to gather the courage she needed for this. The hurt she felt when she saw the car burst into flames, but looking into the flames it felt like she was a flame standing its ground and it was then that her eyes opened up quickly and she put her hands up into a fist. She couldn't help but like the music they put in the background, it fit the moment she thought since she had a smirk on her lips.*Her Fight
She could feel how hard it was to make anything she did count when he hit her it did hurt that much she knew which caused her to grunt with him as she actually heard a bone snap and when she was done she saw what she did to him. And that was just from damn movies, but when it was done she helped him up and showed him proper respect. When she looked at everyone they all looked stunned but she bowed before the teacher and she saw him bow to her.*After all that she went to a nightclub,*she needed to drink something to try and help the pain of her cheek the funny thing was however as she was getting a drink she felt a hand on her shoulder when she turned she was surprised to see Liu and the one thing that she just had to say "lǎo shī?" She said. What she wanted to say was his name but instead, she called him a teacher in Mandarin. She blushed because she felt stupid but she was surprised he wanted to sit down with her, which was very much different than ever before.
When she got a drink in her she felt so much better and was less nervous, he seemed impressed that her Mandarin was very well and even tho she needed some work he was very kind. It was really nice speaking with her she remembered what he said when he asked her how long she had been doing Kung Fu when she said it was her first class but she was raised up on Kung Fu movies as a kid. And she was gifted with her mind she was able to remember everything almost perfectly. It was a really nice feeling to be with someone so alive like him. But something changed within him one night they were walking through central park and he stopped to look up at the full moon, something seemed wrong, and when she placed her hand on his shoulder and he actually pulled away. She was scared she had done something, it was when she spoke in Mandarin "zěn me le Lui?" When she asked what was wrong. He had asked her to sit as he sat down her hand in his as she sat with him and asked her a strange question.
What she thought about werewolves if she knew anything about them. She smiled and told him of a story they just taught in her class. It was a very old story over 500 years old where a werewolf was being chased and some man hid the poor creature and when the hunters asked about it he told them he didn't see anything and in that simple kind of moment, there was a friendship. The story didn't end too well but it was an act of kindness that meant everything to her. "If such a creature existed and just wanted to be loved or left alone they as a being one of gods creatures should have that right, I know some see them as monsters but honestly I don't know what I would do if I saw one, it would depend"* She placed her hand on his and looked at him as she saw something was on his mind and he was hiding his eyes. Cel tried to get him to open up to her and tell her what was going on. It was then she felt a tear on her hand.
"Lui....kàn the wǒ" She asked him to look at her, her hand on his cheek he finally looked at her and his eyes she would never forget such a pair of eyes. They looked like a wolf and his teeth even looked a little sharper not like other people for sure. Her eyes did show surprise and even some fear, she looked down a moment closed her eyes, and shook her head shaking the fear out of her head. When she looked at him again his eyes still the same. It was when she leaned in and kissed him and the way she kissed him? It was amazing and how he kissed her back and she knew they were meant to be together, the kiss was wonderful and that was the night he asked her to marry him, it was out of the blue and so sudden but she kissed him deeply showing that the kiss was her answer. This brings her to this moment, looking at herself in the mirror seeing her wedding dress. She did not know if he ever had sex but she was still a virgin she always wanted to wait and rather he was or not it did not matter in the least.*
Her Wedding Dress Made her smile and as she was learning things ever since he showed her what he was to some degree she knew more was coming. They were going to be married by his clan and both his parents would be there to see their new daughter in law. She was nervous and excited all at the same time. Her heart was going all over a fight and it was in Mandarin. She walked up and pressed her ear to the door hearing the fight. She wasn't great at the language but she was still learning and she was managing to understand a lot of it. His mother was fighting because of the blood pact that needs to be performed. It's what their people do a blood pact where one cuts the other and puts their wounds together, which makes it where he could sense her and even speak with her mentally. But he did not want to do that because it was old school but he agreed to it for his father. She quickly moved and when the door opened she was face to face with his father her soon to be the father in law. She smiled at him and then bowed, she didn't know if his parents liked her or not.
But something else was going on the wedding was over a blood moon where that night he would be forced to show the beast within. She would indeed see what he is and the blood moon is part of their wedding it will be private of course but she will become pregneat even for her because she was told due to the car crash she was thrown so far children were no longer possible. So it would be a nice treat to see, as everyone took their places she heard the wedding music and both doors opened up showing her with a bouquet of mixed color roses, red, white, yellow and even more rare colors. She had a smile on her face and she locked over to Lui and made her feel confident and when she stood before him and they took each others hands and as they took their vows a tear fell down her face and when they were able to kiss as man and wife she was so thrilled but as the clapping die down she saw someone still dancing and seeing this woman in black she saw it was his sister who was far from thrilled about a human as a sister in law.
"Why does a human love my brother" She said in perfect bitchy english, she could see Lui getting angry but she placed her hand on his chest. She knew she was his older sister and protective she was. She was going to do this in private but she had the best way to explain herself. She kissed her husband and then went to the piano and began to play a very beautiful melody, it was a song she had written for him. But as she she began to sing tears fell down her face as she could feel everyone looking at her, and as her music had started someone picked up a violin and played with her, making a bigger impact. Finally when she was finished and the music faded no one said or did anything as her pure tears of love for him was supposedly a beautiful thing because Lui was the first of their kind to ever take a human bride.
My Love - Her Song
" wǒ huì wéi tā zuò rèn hé shì!" She said in Mandarin, telling her and everyone in that room that she would do anything for him.
