Filming amateur porn for the OnlyFans, any tips?

I have the ring light and I just sent my GoPro in to get the cracked screen replaced..

We tried filming once and even though another friend said it was, "hot" and that I fucked like a porn star.. the angles need improvement. Maybe multiple camera angles going on at once?

Would you recommend making a sex party out of it with multiple people there so you can have a 3rd person be a dedicated cameraperson? How has this worked out for you? Is the expectation that all parties are messing around with all parties or is there a challenge to keep a cameraperson disciplined to actually film?

How well do GoPro's work and would you mount it to your head or chest? I've tried holding the phone before and the shake factor is terrible.

What about anonymity? Would you go with a face blur or one of those mardi gras masks?

Asking for a friend šŸ˜

Well hereā€™s my take from being on OnlyFans as a consumerā€¦

First, I think anyone appearing on camera has to be verified by OnlyFans. That means you have to do all your paperwork for taxes and such. Not sure where you all fall into that category.

Thatā€™s important because if you have a third person decide to be a camera op, they can decide to jump in and participate.

Professionally when I edit (I donā€™t do porn), Iā€™ve never tried to blur something outā€¦especially something thatā€™s moving. It can be done, but wearing masks might be more interesting. And some people make videos without covering faces and charge a lot more for them.

Finally, wear that GoPro for good POV shots. Then set up your phone on a tripod of some sort for a fixed shot. That fixed shot will make editing later a little easier. Trust me. Just make sure both the phone and GoPro are set up to the same tech specs, that you are shooting same aspect ratios, 720 vs 1080, and so on.

Good luck putting yourself out there! Maybe youā€™ll make enough money to step up to a better camera!

Thank you so much for the encouragement!

If there any accounts you think might be worth checking out please share!!!

I got into some amateur filmography during COVID, so I have various mounts and ringlights.. and 100% would set up at least two fixed shots per position and then probably do a chest mount GoPro.

My friend was telling me she's only been on OnlyFans a little bit and has already made a bunch of money šŸ¤Æ

Basically I'm just gonna pop a cialis and she's gonna pop something to ease the nerves with all the cameras and pauses we'll do and we'll see what we create šŸ˜‚

It's super exciting to think about.. a few years ago I messaged an amateur couple that filmed all over the world and was like, "how do I live your life," and he's like, "I used to be just like you!"

This would be only my third time filming. Noted on the tax and all that, I figure my friend has already done that stuff. I'm not too worried about the career stuff any more.

I guess yeah -- I definitely one time started an entire lap-dance train at a bar and have worked it on the stripper pole at the swingers / lifestyle club with a great deal of interest.

Noted about the face blur vs. not face blur! Masks make the post-production easier I'm sure lol

Really excited about this!

I would have to try to look a couple accounts up again. I closed down my OnlyFans account because I was spending WAY too much money. Thereā€™s definitely a formula to it all. But it seems like youā€™re halfway there.

Have FUN!

Relax! Don't do it
When you want to go to it.
Relax! Don't do it
When you want cum...

Seriously. This is a bad idea. Don't do it.

First lesson learned on my OF journey: I was a bit nervous.. and my friend and I set a date to shoot.. we've already filmed together but not specifically for OF..

A little inebriated the night before I wound up telling my other guy friend who introduced us inadvertently because they briefly dated.. and well, he's the super jealous type and he totally cockblocked my OF attempt and got in her head making her feel like a whore for not accepting his love šŸ™„.. and it is more lame than it sounds even

But then I also pissed her off because whereas I thought she was freely sharing her OF on her social media, she actually had privacy settings set to not show this particular guy.. so it was a big big whoops on my part!

Lesson: if you're doing OF and collaborating, you have to ask people if it's ok if you tell anyone else!

We wound up not shooting as a result.. sometimes these things are like a chemistry thing and when you add cameras to it likewise I think as a guy you can forget the song-and-dance of wining-and-dining her to warm her up.. even if she claims (and mostly is) a straight-to-the-business kind of person

I do have another shoot (that likely won't include sex) already set up more where my friend asked me to film her. I joke and imagine it's just gonna be her cooking vegan muffins in her van by the beach and then ya'll can pay to see her in her sexy lingerie lol

Friends of ours went down this path.

They started off with some fetishy stuff. Feet and toes, peek-a-boob reveal, toys and tease, etc. This wasnā€™t about not wanting to get down to knockingā€™ boots, but that they wanted to get the technical stuff - lighting, multiple cameras, angles - dialed in.

Audio proved to be one of their biggest challenges, as they live more urban than suburban, and you notice all the city white noises - mowers, horns, planes - the mic will pick up during edit.
They eventually got down to filming themselves fucking each other, and others, which lasted a while.

Then they went back to doing their fetish stuff, as there was less hassle and headache, and I think the kinky stuff is more fun and lucrative for them. Whatever floats their boat.

Porn built the internet.

Once corporate America discovered there was money to be made, it was all down hill from there. I blame AOL

Unless you are drop dead gorgeous and perfect, and anyone else you bring on camera is drop dead gorgeous and perfect (or freak-ish in some way), you should probably just get a a real job. Otherwise you are all set to jump into an endless pool of way-below-average to average to kinda-cute people who are trying to do the same thing.
Oddly enough, the world of Porn is now so rich in its diversity that simply being drop-dead gorgeous is no longer such a big deal, by contrast, it's niche Porn where the novelty and innovation lies, so that 'Matures' - for example, it's more enthusiasm than counts rather than simple flawless bodies.
And - for the guys, the ability to maintain an erection is important, there's nothing less sexy than the person being fucked pretending to enjoy a soft and barely penetrating cock!
