The particular narrative is NOT what's important - what's important is that the Left believes that it can win over the hearts and minds of 20 to 30 percent of the swing voters in the United States with made-up tales of racism, sexism, unearned white privilege, right-wing greed and selfishness, and also by destroying an elected president.
Christine Blasey Ford’s recovered-memory accusations that a teenaged Brett Kavanaugh, nearly 40 years ago, had assaulted her were not corroborated by any firsthand witnesses, and Ford provided no reliable information on the place or date of the alleged assault. Then, just last month, Kavanaugh 2.0 played out, when two New York Times reporters created a mythical tale that imploded within hours after we learned that the whole this was nothing more than hearsay.
About ten months ago, we witnessed yet another progressive morality farce, between stereotypical evil white Christian kids wearing MAGA hats and a saintly Native American, Vietnam veteran Nathan Phillips, who was threatened by the punk kids and yet spoke truth to power when he resisted their slurs by beating a drum. It was later revealed that Phillips had never been to Vietnam, that he was a chronic liar, that he was the one who had first walked over to the teenagers and initiated the stand-off by banging a drum in their faces. But by then the gullible left had already embraced him.
Shortly after that Covington caper, angry gay black actor Jussie Smollett gave America his own concocted fable about being attacked by two white supremacists in MAGA hats, who were apparently (while carrying bleach and rope) randomly prowling the liberal streets of Chicago — in the early-morning hours in subfreezing weather — more gullible lefties were left looking foolish after initially going ballistic!
In May 2017, Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate President Trump’s “collusion” and “obstruction” with Russia. For the next 22 months of the $32 million investigation, the media regularly leaked supposedly sensational disclosures from “unnamed sources” and “high-ranking officials who prefer to remain anonymous.” Congressman Adam Schiff was periodically wheeled out to grimace and say he was disturbed at the shocking crimes of Donald Trump that he had seen in secret. When it was all over, there was NO evidence of collusion or obstruction, only Mueller’s own embarrassing lack of knowledge of Christopher Steele’s fabricated dossier, gleaned largely from Russian plants and sources.
Now we've got yet another progressive psychodrama. This time we're told about Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president proving Trump’s collusion with a foreign power to hurt his presidential rival Joe Biden.
But then the transcript was released showing no quid pro quo. As with the Mueller case, Trump’s domestic foes were accusing him of what they themselves had done. The only explicit threats to cut off Ukrainian aid were made not by Trump but by Joe Biden himself, who boasted, on camera at a public event, that he had forced the firing of a prosecutor — a prosecutor who was looking into his own son’s profiteering in Ukraine — by threatening to cut $1 billion in Obama-administration aid to Ukraine.
Adam Schiff, to heighten the drama of the caper, opened a congressional hearing by reading from the transcript of the Trump call to the Ukrainian president. Only he didn’t. Instead he ad-libbed and recited a fantasy version that contradicted the actual transcript in several places.
We have learned nothing and forgotten nothing in all these instances. There is an eerie sameness about all of them. The media go berserk with rumors of a “groundbreaking” disclosure. Talking points are issued, which liberal news readers regurgitate ad nauseam. Democratic would-be presidential candidates rush to social media with the grimmest predications and loudest condemnations.
And then, when it's all over, there are no apologies and no contriteness, just a shrug. Once again, none of it was true. So here we are, on the eve of impeaching a president on the basis of disgruntled White House staffers, whose rumors in secondhand and thirdhand fashion were passed on to a “whistleblower” who worked hand in hand with partisan lawyers and Adam Schiff to circumvent the normal whistleblower protocols and smear a president.
And we all shrug and grow quiet — at least until the next Blasey Ford, Michael Avenatti, Jussie Smollett, Nathan Philipps, House squad, all-star star chamber, James Comey, or “anonymous” crusading “whistleblower” comes forth to seek notoriety and do his yeoman’s work to rid the country of Trump and all his odious henchmen.
Meanwhile, they have no idea of the wreckage they have inflicted on the intelligence agencies, the media, the Democratic party, themselves, and the country — or much less why a growing number of Americans are sick of them all.

The one GIANT hoaxer I remind myself never to forget is the Rev. Al Sharpton. It's disgusting that he is now turned to as a beacon of wisdom in cases of social injustice. The guy is a psychopath who perpetrated the Tawana Brawley outrage, and used it to feed his hunger for notoriety. It's not unlike former V.P. Joe Biden's moving — and horrifying — story about his wife and daughter being killed by a drunk driver, a story that similarly could not have been more perfectly designed to bolster his political image as a man who can be counted on to soldier on in the face of adversity.

What Senator Warren has in common with Jussie Smollett turns out to have nothing to do with skin tone. Smollett, you’ll recall, regaled the nation with the story of a couple of violent, Trump-loving, MAGA-hat-wearing white supremacists who just happened to be cruising a gay neighborhood in Chicago on the coldest night of the year (and who ALSO just so happened to be fans of Empire) and who had brought along some rope tied into a noose. We later discovered that they were a couple of Nigerian brothers who were also colleagues of Smollett’s.
Fiction, yes - created by such habitual and irredeemable liars as Liz Warren, Joe Biden, Jussie Smollett — and the so-called journalists of Rolling Stone, creating stories on a thousand phony campus hate-crime hoaxes — all for the "greater good."
“Does anybody seriously believe it was not as everyday as sunrise that employers made pregnant women leave their jobs 50 years ago?” CNBC’s John Harwood demanded in defense of Warren. Perhaps it has not occurred to Harwood, who purports to be a journalist of a kind, that the relevant question is not whether this sort of thing happened in the past to a great many women but whether this particular thing actually happened to this woman, which does not seem to be the case: The minutes of the local school-board meeting quite clearly document that Warren was offered a contract for further employment, which she declined.
Similarly, people are killed by drunk drivers every day in this country. Joe Biden’s wife and daughter were not among them, in spite of his libelous claims that they lost their lives in an accident involving an irresponsible truck driver who, as Biden put it, “drank his lunch.” The man who oversaw that investigation, Delaware Superior Court judge Jerome O. Herlihy, repeatedly has confirmed that there is no evidence alcohol was involved. The survivors of the driver, who has since passed away, have publicly asked Biden to stop telling this lie and besmirching the memory of their father. Investigators at the time determined that the accident was not even the other driver’s fault — Mrs. Biden seems to have driven accidentally into the path of the truck.
But what’s a lie about some nobody in Delaware in the service of the “greater good,” which is somehow allied to the political ambitions of Joe Biden?
A few weeks ago, the headlines were full of angst and alarm over the fact that a young black girl suffered a racial assault at the hands of three smug white boys who cut off her hair: “SIXTH GRADERS HOLD DOWN CLASSMATE, CUT HER DREADLOCKS AT PRIVATE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL WHERE KAREN PENCE TEACHES,” in Newsweek’s all-caps account. Newsweek had added Pence’s name in the lead, too — in the hopes of dragging our current vice president's wife down into the mud in the process!
Of course it was another lie. Here’s Newsweek's correction: “Amari Allen, who accused her classmates of hurling verbal abuse at her and forcibly cutting her hair has told reporters that she fabricated the event. The Allen family has formally apologized to both the school and the falsely accused boys.” Newsweek has NOT apologized to Karen Pence, who had no connection at all to the fictitious events save that they were purported to have happened at her place of employment. But the Democrats have invested a great deal in the storyline that Mike Pence must be some kind of crypto-racist, and it would follow that this tendency infests everyone and everything around him.
Warren’s, Biden’s, and Smollett’s dishonest fictions, along with Newsweek’s attempted smear of Karen Pence, ALL have one thing in common:

Yup. That sixth-grader was following the example of her elder and supposedly wiser "leaders", and a celebrity adult. I hope our society can make a course correction by loudly condemning the likes of Jussie Smollett AND Al Sharpton; but I'm afraid it's too late for that. We are a hair's breadth away from losing our Republic due to the Bizzaro World Leftists and whining "more me now" charlatans. Well, I'm exaggerating 'cause I'm scared of conniving, evil lawyers like Adam Schiff. But, if there is ANY justice left in this world it will be Trump 2020 by a historical landslide... I hope!

Judge says Chicago CAN sue Jussie Smollett for $130,000
CHICAGO (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday struck down a motion to dismiss Chicago's lawsuit against former "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett.
U.S. District Judge Virginia Kendall's ruling means that Chicago's lawsuit seeking to recoup $130,000 that city officials say their police department spent investigating Smollett's bogus claim that he was a victim of a racist and homophobic attack in January will now proceed.
The motion by the former "Empire" actor's attorneys was a longshot because their argument boiled down to the contention that Smollett shouldn't be required to reimburse the police department because he couldn't have known beforehand how much time and money would be spent investigating his fake allegation.
When Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson announced charges against Smollett, he angrily made clear the stakes of the investigation and why it was so important that police solve the case, saying that Smollett "took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career."
Although Smollett has maintained his innocence, the police department is adamant that there is a mountain of evidence showing that Jussie staged the entire thing with two Nigerian brothers that he knew & worked with. And with the appointment of the special prosecutor, there remains the possibility that Smollett will AGAIN be charged with staging the attack.

It's been just over ONE YEAR now since gay Hollywood Trump-hating actor Jussie Smollet staged his fake hate-crime in Chicago against supporters of President Trump! The New York Times, CNN, ABC News, the Washington Post, CBS News, and NBC News ALL ran Jussie's false assertions, and pretty much EVERY declared Democratic Party presidential candidate immediately tweeted out their love & support to him!
A whole generation of reporters has grown not understanding the difference between journalism and activism. Let's re-visit the events immediately following last year's hoax:
CNN: “‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollett attacked in possible hate crime.” False. The underlying story asserts flatly, “‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett was attacked in the early morning hours on Tuesday.” Not true. In type so tiny it could easily be missed, CNN later appended, “Editor’s note: Read an update here,” which links to a story three months later describing how Smollett’s version of events fell apart.
GOOD MORNING AMERICA: “’Empire’ star Jussie Smollett brutally attacked, hospitalized in possible hate crime.” Hospitalized? Getting treated at a hospital you took yourself to is not the same thing as being admitted to one. False and false. The story remains uncorrected.
THE NEW YORK TIMES: “Jussie Smollett, Star of ‘Empire,’ Attacked in What Police Call a Possible Hate Crime.” Wrong. The story remains uncorrected. The underlying article by Sopan Deb says, “Jussie Smollett, one of the stars of the Fox television show ‘Empire,’ was attacked in Chicago early Tuesday morning by two people who yelled racial and homophobic slurs and wrapped a rope around his neck, according to the police...” But the police could not have known this. They were not present. They were simply relating what Smollett said. Reporters should understand such distinctions.
Police also noted on that first day that Smollett had not initially told them his attackers shouted, “This is MAGA country,” a detail that his camp later gave to TMZ. When police heard about that, they contacted Smollett again, at which point he passed along that detail. Why would he have left out the seemingly crucial possible motive for this otherwise unexplained assault? “Sources directly connected to Jussie” also told TMZ his assailants “poured bleach on him,” but Smollett told police the liquid poured on him was an unknown chemical substance. The same sources told TMZ his attackers were white men, but Smollett told police he could not identify the race of his supposed attackers. Aren’t reporters supposed to be skeptical when the subject of a story tells a more sensational story to the press than he does to police? This story had more red flags than Bernie Sanders’s honeymoon.
Cory Booker tweeted, “The vicious attack on actor Jussie Smollett was an attempted modern-day lynching.” Wrong. Kamala Harris also called it a “modern-day lynching.” It's nice to know that at least those two are no longer running for president!
