Blue-state meltdown

States controlled by the Democratic Party have been driving the middle class away with bad policies for years. But now that the consequences of these bad choices are being compounded by President Joe Biden, the harm caused by the Democrats’ far-Left drift is becoming ever more apparent. In some cases, it literally makes Democratic officeholders cry.

People shouldn’t have to tolerate their community centers being closed to house migrants and their downtowns filled with dead and near-dead drug addicts or fear for their lives when they take out the trash. In fact, many people don’t, which is why Democratic states such as California, Massachusetts, and Oregon are losing residents to Republican-controlled states. But not everyone has the means to escape Democratic governance, and we are all suffering under Biden’s refusal to enforce federal immigration laws.

Each of these problems shares a common factor. It is that Democrats think they can manage harmful behavior with generous services rather than deterrent punitive measures. In every case, leniency is enabling and encouraging more bad behavior. Until voters elect better leaders, expect more people to flee Democratic states, and life for all of us will get worse until there is a new occupant in the White House.

The problem is that right now the D's are thinking good riddance when the R's move out.

Wait until reality hits them.

Yep, when they look around and there's nobody productive enough to tax.

The best one is yet to hit the books. In 2022 the idjits in this state created a law to charge utility rates based on income rather than a set rate.

Most wealthy people have low declared incomes because of tax laws which allow them to deduct expenses or even declare a loss (negative income). Once the "per income" rate goes into effect we'll have inner city minorities making 20K per year living in hovels paying 50 cents per kilowatt for electricity (up from 32 cents now) and wealthy silicon valley execs living in mansions paying 12 cents/K-watt for 10X the electrical use.

Because "rich" doesn't mean "high income" even though there are stooges who believe they are the same thing and that "the rich" will be the ones paying the electrical bill. The reality is that low and middle income people will see HIGHER electrical bills to offset the lower bills of "the rich."

Progress is a wonderful thing to see in action as it's used to completely destroy society.

The low income, high violence, drug addicted states are red.

A fallacy with lots of unstated facts which once examined disprove the narrative in the fallacy.

For instance; red STATES aren't "low income, high violence, drug addicted" problems. BLUE CITIES in Red States are.

It's not our fault Red State leaders are pussies.

Okay I looked it up real quick the South isn't super bad for drugs. Its really more a midwest/Rustbelt and North East problem.

Nope. Rural areas are much lower income and have higher rates of fentanyl addiction than cities. Cities are economic drivers in every state, and the non-metropolitan areas of every state are economic laggards.

Not true.

Basically you read the LA Times article and regurgitated the lies as truth without doing any fact checking of your own. Not only is this intellectually lazy but it shows your bias and disregard for the actual truth even when it's pointed out to you.

How can we miss you if you won't go away?

Never mentioned you "missing us." Which means that you too suffer from a lack of reading comprehension. Further, the OP mentions that Democrats are rethinking their policies after Conservatives flee their jurisdictions. Which is another way of saying that Conservatives are LEAVING and "going away."

So complete FAIL on your part. Not unexpected.

The sources you linked say absolutely nothing about drug addiction in rural areas vs metro areas. Try again.

The second source you linked does contain the interesting information that the cities with the LOWEST drug use are Miami, Washington DC, and Atlanta. So blue! Others in the lowest 10 include New York, San Francisco, Detroit, Baltimore, Oakland and New Orleans. Blue cities are doing well.

Neither one of your links compares urban and rural areas, dumbass.

When the ACTUAL DATA shows that blue cities are the highest offenders, you don't need a "comparison" because the number crunchers already did that when they tallied the results.

It's like you're a fucking idiot or something...

Cherry picking the data doesn't change the findings. Blue cities in red states are where the problem is.

Oh look, someone who manipulates the statistics to get the result he prefers rather than the actual truth.

How predictable...
You retard. You missed the fact that when he manipulated the numbers IN RED STATES' FAVOR, they STILL had a 12% higher murder rate than blue States. Which means in an apples to apples comparison, red states have an even higher murder rate. For someone who rants about other people's reading comprehension abilities, you are on the very left tail-end of the bell curve. Those are the retards, in case you need help understanding a bell curve.

Sure sounds like you were implying that we'd miss you when you're gone. We won't.

Once again for the fuckwit; Red STATES don't have a "murder problem" or a "drug problem", BLUE CITIES in red states have those problems.

I linked to actual reports/sites with studies which support what I'm saying. YOU and the rest of the fuckwits cherry pick the data and come to a different conclusion which isn't supported by either the study or the data as a whole.

You must be stupid or something.
