I swear! I will never understand why every community I go to or join I find such total and complete ignorance! And it's ALWAYS non black women attempting to make statements about what 'black women' as in all black women, like, are interested in, or enjoy!

Stop telling what I or other black women might like or enjoy! Just speak for yourself.

Just like men or other women of any color there is NO and will not ever be any uniform standard that can be applied completely across any color, sex, or race. So to make such statements is so ignorant that it hurts to read. Like how can you be so blind?

I can't believe I literally just join this community, hoping to find more open minded acceptance, but it's shocking to see how closed minded some community members actually are. How are there multiple 'White Girls that like Black Men' threads but the one that existed for 'Black Girls with White Guys' is deleted???? Why can't we as a community just agree that ALL men and women matter! Come onnnn!! We are all human for crying out loud!! Skin tone is just a paint job!

As a black woman not only do I have appreciation for white men and women and the unique struggles they face, I also have an interest in them! A rather steady burning passion and sexual curiosity about white men (and women).

I have similar curiosity and interest about other races(Asian and Hispanic) but my preference and main interest is in white men (and women).

Very well said Bleachbunny, and i'm sorry your first experience here was so disappointing. This community is typically very welcoming and open-minded. i've gotten great advice and suggestions from people, i've learned much from reading others' posts, and i've found myself asking thoughtful questions because of the discourse here. All in all, being on the threads has had great value. Unfortunately, there are always a very small group who will judge, castigate, and just be rude and ornery. That's just par for the course in a sample size this large. Ignore them, and embrace all the other wonderful people! i think you'll really enjoy it!

Thank You for saying this, I was raised in the 60's but was taught not to judge a person on their color & taught my kids the same.
 
I don't remember necessarily being taught to be accepting. I guess mainly I wasn't taught not to be.

I think you put into words very well a lot of the frustration black women face. It’s hard for me to truly understand it as a white man, although I’ve started a long distance relationship with a wonderful black woman who has taught me a lot about the things she deals with (FFS she didn’t even feel comfortable using her actual name in her dating profile, so she used a more white-sounding one. And for the record, I like her actual name better.)

You know skin color is just skin deep. I know that. So does my lady friend. It’s just sad that people get so bent out of shape over race when it’s nothing more than how assholes have justified subjugating one another for centuries.

I would recommend staying away from the General Board. They are a bunch of assholes... The playground is way more friendly and inviting.
