Thread Archaeology ...

One of the interesting things about these threads is that they seem to have a very long life. For example, I looked at when the first posting for this thread occurred, and it was in October of 2016, which is over 4 years ago.

And before someone started posting on this thread again in November 2020, it was pretty much dead between 2017 and 2020. I guess my point is that if you are looking to find people in the local area, there's really no easy way to find people who are "active" and "want to be found", unless they post on the board. And from the lack of activity, what other conclusion can you draw, but there aren't that many active people who want to start a dialog this way?
