Any tips on writing an FFM threesome?

I often get around this for any same-sex encounter by writing first-person (which I used to hate, but I find so much easier...i guess I'm lazy). This stops working if there are three same-sex people or the main character is the lone member of their sex in the threesome

What everyone else has recommended and one other thing. It can be tempting to dwell on the interactions of two of the three for several paragraphs, but then it becomes an FF or an FM with an observer. You need the observer in both 1st and 3rd person, but don't forget to keep them in the action.

Pronouns can trip you up. Make sure that you give the two women some distinguishing characteristics that you can refer to, and don't have to rely either on repeating their names too often or else writing an incoherent tangle of Shes and Hers.

Very good advice. I've realized I'm a bit pronoun dependent in most of my sex scenes and it definitely made it difficult to sort things out when there were two females involved.
I'll second the distinctive characteristics. I had a blonde and a redhead so it was natural to refer to that.

Visualize what you’re depicting! Remember, not every position works out long term or at first glance. Keep in mind people’s feelings too- if they’re not sure about what’s going on, just going with the flow and seeing if they like something, they’ll act very different from the eager seductive types and the just glad to be there folk. You can also have someone take charge and setup assignments- or just walk between people and push their buttons so to speak.

It’s generally easier to do the latter with a woman than a man, at least for me. I’d expect to get slapped if I tried to get into a situation where two women were enjoying themselves. If they knew I was there and they beckoned me to join, sure, but that’s different than a male dominant situation. I don’t think I’ve ever written a male dominant three some. Too worried about independent female characters and the male coming off as a jerk.

Check that- both the MFF scenes in Passion 5 have a dominant male but he’s also respectful of the women and their relationships with him and each other- more so the second scene than the first. Then again, that one has closer connections too.
