Any tips are welcome, I'm working on something and I'm looking to improve my skills in writing steamy stuff

This isn't really a tip for threesomes so much as all intimate sex: establish your characters. Let the reader know what each person thinks about each other person, before they start in on each other. Make what you're building up to feel earned and appropriate. Show their desires and their hesitations and their shyness and their boldness and their emotional journey. Make them feel like real people.

The logistics of a threesome are much more complicated than a twosome. You're going to have to spend more time describing what everyone is doing whenever there is a shift in positions. This runs the risk of taking the reader out of the hotness of your scene. But since the reader is presumably into the fact there's a threesome going on, you probably don't want them going, "Wait, what is Jill doing while he's inside Emily? Is she making a sandwich?" My advice here is to limit the amount of acrobatics in your scene.

Pronouns can trip you up. Make sure that you give the two women some distinguishing characteristics that you can refer to, and don't have to rely either on repeating their names too often or else writing an incoherent tangle of Shes and Hers.

"She reached down and ran her fingers along the length of her pussy"

Whose pussy, hers or the other girl's?

"The redhead reached down and ran her fingers along the lengths of the older woman's pussy."

See what I'm sayin'?

Here are a few thoughts:

Create a realistic reason for the three of them to have sex together. Make it fun for all three.

Have characteristics that set the two women apart. One is chubby with big tits, the other slender and athletic. One is tan or has darker skin, the other pale. One has long blonde hair and the other has short coppery-red. Give one freckles on her chest, give the other some imperfections.

Include the physical descriptions but include their reactions and how they feel. Do that by communicating. Maybe one girl is playful and keeps teasing the other who's way more shy and uncertain. Have them support each other emotionally and work with each other for their individual pleasure.

Give the names separate starting letters and change the syllables. Kim and Petra. Roxy and Jane. Savannah and Mo. Use those names regularly so we don't get stuck with nonstop 'she' 'her.'

Lastly, give us personalities to root for. I'm one of the readers who'll disengage if they start fucking within the first 500-1000 words of a story. I'm trying to get better at setting the scene when I write. You won't lose us if you work on giving us compelling reasons for the two women to have some fun.

Kinky Bitch 69 has recently released an "interesting" video on various platforms showing off a threesome. Certainly some research to be had there!

I use names as well to distinguish them. I'll use a pronoun for one, the other their name and back and forth, depending on how the scene is playing.

It feels a little tedious writing, but saves you from needing to keep coming with adjectives for each person.

If it's an FFM, the rule says one of them has to be a MILF with great boobs. Great ass too. And legs. Pretty and dark-haired. A wicked smile. All right, I might have gotten carried away...

What category is your story going to in? How long is your story going to be?

Your first step is to ask yourself how much interaction are the women going to have? Are they going to just watch the other woman have sex with the guy? Are they going to have sex with each other in addition to the man? Somewhere in between? I've written FFM threesomes of all those types. All of them can work; what is best is determined by your story.

Any tips on writing an FFM threesome?

Hi,

Iā€™ve written a lot of these. Some have been based on personal experience. In the following, I assume that both F are bi. A different [and IMO more boring] dynamic if the girls arenā€™t going to interact with each other and instead just serve the guy.

A few pointers:

  1. If you are just writing a stroker, then watching some FFM porn is the way to go, pick up on some of what they do
  2. But this is a long way off of IRL threesomes. For example it often seems like one Fā€™s role is merely to put her pretty face in shot (maybe between the other Fā€™s legs) and to say inane things to the M (oh baby fuck her pussy!) - the general idea in IRL threesomes (unless there is a BDSM element) is to have everyone involved (either triangularly, or by taking turns as to who is the center of attention) - a bystander will feel left out and get bored (unless watching is their thing)
  3. The thing is, in porn, they donā€™t want one Fā€™s head in the way of their nice pussy penetration shots - they need to create space - IRL no one worries about blocking a shot
  4. I often try to write FFM as a lesbian scene with a penis introduced - that might just be me though
  5. What Iā€™d say is that, unless youā€™re writing a stroker, where motivations are irrelevant, who are these people?
  6. Also consider some of the following:
  7. Why do they want to have sex together?
  8. Are two a couple and the other an invitee?
  9. Is one of the three more dominant (not in a BDSM context) and takes the lead
  10. Is any one of of the three more nervous about it.
  11. Do the people have different kinks (one girl likes anal, the other hates it)
  12. Are two of the partners more into each other than the third?
  13. What has led up to this point?
  14. What are the people feeling emotionally and physically during the sex?
Hope that helps.

I often get around this for any same-sex encounter by writing first-person (which I used to hate, but I find so much easier...i guess I'm lazy). This stops working if there are three same-sex people or the main character is the lone member of their sex in the threesome

Iā€™m in the middle of a multi-chapter work which is essentially a series of FFFs with the same three women.

Maybe this is why I never had an IRL FFF šŸ¤£.

First person deals with one problem, but the pronouns are tricky. I wrote a third person lesbian series, same problem.

Pretty much any advice I'd give has already been covered.

The one I suppose I'd stress is: give us characters to care about.

If everyone is just a cardboard cutout porn caricature, well...it's easier to just go watch porn.

We should care about these people BEFORE they fuck. We should be rooting for the male, finally getting that long dreamed of threesome experience with his girlfriends best friend.

Or cheering as the Main Female Character finally gets her first experience with a woman and shares that with her man.

Whatever scenario you come up with, tell us who these people ARE before you throw them all in bed together.

Then, yes...get kinky with it.
