A technical query on how to remove people from my favourite list

I may have. added some names in the favourite list on my profile home page

now if I want to remove any of the people in the list what am I to do?

I have unfriended these guys, but the favourite still shows their name.
is there no way to remove some unwanted names?
I may have been friendly with these guys, but now I'm not!

please help if anyone knows how!

My misunderstanding - I thought you were talking of "Following" here on the board - I read too fast.

I use a different layout for the story section which is actually a huge improvement over the default layout and makes the removal easy - I suggest you give it a try. You can opt out if you don't like it.

So in the story section

• https://www.literotica.com/my/#/user/options should take you to the correct page if you are logged in
• Click on the/your profile icon at top of page and select Options
• "Participate in early site feature versions beta-testing" check yes (this beta option has been available for many years)
• Now your Favourite stories will be listed as Favorites
• Your "FAVORITE AUTHORS" will now be listed in "Following" - there is a tick beside each name - click that and they will be removed
  

The beta layout is also a vast improvement for mobile phones - you can also choose different font sizes

this didn't work either
I already unfollowed these people, but they still appear in my favourites...

shall I revert back to the nonbeta version?
though I didn't find any difference between the two!

Do you mean the 60+ people listed as "Followers" at the bottom of your "About" page on this forum? If so, I don't think you have the ability to remove them, other than by asking them to unfollow you.

I just went to this URL: https://literotica.com/my/#/following. This should do the same thing for me as the same link does for you.

From there, I removed one person that I'd previously been following. This omission was not reflected on my equivalent to the followers shown on your list, at least not yet. It could also be related to my browser cache. (Edit: I just checked that from a different computer, and my browser cache doesn't seem to be the issue.)

Some changes can take minutes, hours, or days to propagate through Literotica's system. That's my first suspicion. I'll check back in a week and see if my change took.

I just checked again, and two days later, the person I unfollowed is now gone my "Following" list.

Is the same true for you? It certainly appears so. All you had to do was wait up to 3 days before your changes propagated through Literotica's system.

The issue has been resolved...
apparently, the we need to unfollow the people and they automatically are removed from the favourites.
Although this could have been incorporated in the options where we favourite them, but anyway.

You needn't work on this request now, treat it as resolved.
