Darcy had expected her to turn and head outside, leaving they three (the two men and the bird) to 'sort' things out. What he hadn't expected was what came next. He watched Eden simply look at Mason, who looked back at her curiously. Darcy started to insist she leave, but then stopped himself. Technically, he didn't say exactly *when* she was supposed to go outside...
"There is life after death, and a curse upon your head. Death is never the end only the begging and by the time Darcy deals with you. You will be begging for your life, a life which was taken from my best friend's. Your boss will be meeting you shortly for as long as there is breath in my lungs, every one of you will be dealt with" The dark haired woman, still Darcy's best friend (and more), turned away for a moment, but then looked back, apparently coming to a decision.
He almost spoke up again, but something in her stride stopped him as she walked up to Mason and slapped him right in the face. Any response on his part was blunted by the feel of Darcy's gun in the back of his head. He watched as she placed her hand on his heart, oblivious as to her next action. The fury in her eyes had made him wonder...
To say nothing of the sound of her voice when it left her mouth. It sounded like there was several of her here with them, all speaking in unison, but in different chords. Her words resonated as they came out, intended for the dead man in the room. "By sun's dying flame, and hades wicked might. I peer into the darkness, to take hold of the light." Eden's eyelids fluttered open and glamed with a bit of power, an unsettling smile appearing as her voice gradually dropped. "The killer's heart by love redeemed, in satan's claw like ruby gleamed." With that, she left, the sound of her shoes hitting the floor being the only things audible before the door clicked closed.
Darcy smirked behind him, grabbing his collar to turn Mason around, to look into his fearful eyes. "You thought that was scary...." Even in the dim light of the back, he could see the shock on Mason's face. "Ever seen a dead guy come back to life before?" Darcy's voice did not carry the power that Eden's had...but the menace in it was sure enough.
Mason all but flopped uselessly in a chair. As far as he was concerned, he'd all but faced down a witch and a corpse, and it was the corpse that spoke to him now, glaring at him as he held the gun casually at his side.
"Where's Lindsey hanging out these days?" The cock of the gun was unnecessary, but Darcy still enjoyed it anyways.
"He...he'll kill me if I tell you that." Mason looked back fearfully at him. "Come to think of it..how do I know you won't kill me?"
The black eyes of the crow did not reassure him. "I need you to send a message to him, Mason...."

It was about fifteen minutes - with no audible noises from the store - before the crow preceded Darcy into the vehicle, as he slid into the passenger seat. "Drive." He said calmly, and a little unsettlingly, waiting for Eden to start the vehicle and pull away before he spoke again.
"I didn't kill him." Darcy shook his head, letting a moment passed. A rumble sounded behind them, and he didn't even look back at the sight of it; the store they'd just been in bursting up into a fireball. One with a familiar pattern burning on the floor in the back room. One that Eden would have appreciated. "That explosion probably just did, though."
Unless he'd managed to break out of the knots he'd bound him in...Darcy looked back at Eden now, and for the first time she would see how far he was willing to go to bring his justice...the crow's justice...for his lost wife.
