I spent the year wondering wtf was wrong with me - only to be dx with an incurable auto-immune illness.
Time for this cycle to end and a whole new chapter to begin.
Onward and upward, I say!

No cure. Most....90%....... people get minimal management from available medications.
This is after many years of misdiagnosis from several specialist, something that apparently happens to most people who end up with this illness.
I already have some major joint damage in elbows and ankles due to being mismanaged.
So yes - if you want to call this cool, go ahead

Having said that, it could be worse! I got my final cancer clearance a few months ago

Ask your dr about humira - it's not something that is well known and it has side effects such as lowering your immune system BUT without it hubby could barely walk. He has chronic psoriatic arthritis ankylosing spondylitis in all his joints. For him it has given him some quality of life with better mobility and is sadly the lesser of two evils.
