Authors' Hangout Car Show

For you car lovers out there (or at least if you drive one), share your current cars and your dream cars. The rules are quite simple, pick your car for the different categories. If you can add pictures, that's a plus. Pictures do not have to be of your actual car, but try to keep to the same model and year. All cars need to be street legal with the exception of the "track day" car. Your "next car" should be one that you could somewhat afford (can be ~$10,000 over your budget) and if you were going to buy it today. So start filling your garages and lets have a car show.

Are mopeds and motorbikes allowed? I can't drive a car, but I can drive a moped, and am hoping to one day get a motorbike license.

Your first car: silver Pontiac Grand Am, although the title called it "sliver" instead
Your current car: pewter Ford Escape
Your next car (semi-affordable): some other mid sized SUV if I want to be able to drive here in the snow & ice and make it to work relatively safely
Your ultimate dream car: Bat Mobile ("cause it is way cool, no?)or maybe a Miata because they remind me of a cartoon car. I always expect a bunch of clowns to scramble out of them at any second.
Night on the town car: whatever my date picks me up in that evening
Car to take camping: I hate camping.
Classic car: hmmm. maybe a VW Beetle. I like the curves on it as opposed to sleek lines of some of the classics, especially things with the fins. they seem too "pointy" and I don't care for the jagged edges.

I don't get very excited about cars, actually. as long as I only have to put gas in it and take it for the oil change, I'm good with anything I drive.
