The Nerd Herd!
I'd like to start a little pseudoblog about Nerdy stuff that I find on the interbone for the rest of my Star Wars/Comic/Gamer geek friends to also enjoy.
Also, I'd like to make this a place for other Nerds to come and share THEIR raging-nerd ons over Squeeable geek stuff.
My first post will be a video that I love by Rocketboom called "Know Your Meme...Geddan".

I pretty much love anything that tweaks the superhero genre.
And I cannot WAIT for this movie!

I learned something new today and loved the video. But why did the commentator make me think of Lost and the Dharma Initiative videos?

If there are any geeks out there that don't yet know about it... shamelessly I will promote THIS >> http://www.thinkgeek.com/
Things like plush bacon, canned unicorn meat, a "Like"/"Dislike" stamp set, or even your very own USB pet rock...
Yay.

I saw this site last year when a friend circulated a link to the cease and desist letter they received regarding the canned unicorn meat. Here's the link.

Ooo, this thread has possibilities of being right up my alley!
Here's my current geek. I'm going to run a role-playing game for the first time ever. Serenity. I game every Monday night with this group of guys (which includes MY guy). This is actually a system they haven't tried yet. I'm SO not going to be ready to do it anytime soon. It takes a while to memorize all the crap the person running it needs to know. Also the fact that I'm having to decide how to deal with stuff the people who wrote the "directions" screwed up on! Good heavens, there are way too many inconsistancies!
The guys seem to be really looking forward to this though. All but 2 have already created their characters. And I'm not going to have to introduce any of the characters so far created to each other because they've worked that out on their own. I'm getting such a kick out of that fact. You have to understand this group has been gaming together for over a decade now. Such geeks.
Aint it great?!

I nominate this t-shirt to be the official t-shirt of this thread:

One more and then I will take my IT Crowd nerdiness elsewhere.
This clip is why I'm on team Moss.

Oh no need to take it elsewhere. I absolutely love IT Crowd! Especially the first two series. I still crack up every time at the scene where Moss has used the staff toilet at the theatre and Roy has used the disabled toilet and Jen catches up with them afterwards (horrible quality, but it was the only clip I could find at this point).
...and do I get points for ordering my first t-shirt from Think Geek like 8 years ago? I wish I knew where it was now, but it said "Chicks Dig UNIX". Yeah. I'm that much of a nerd.
