Mark smirked; his parents were finally gone for the weekend, which meant that he had alone time. Other than his older sister, of course. Sighing, he drove up to their house and parked it. Getting out of the car, he walked up to the house and opened the door, hearing nothing.

"Wonder where sis is..." he muttered calmly as he set his keys on the table and walked by the stairs.

Rummaging through her closet, Melody cursed fiercely when she heard the door slam downstairs. 'Shit, he's home. I thought I'd have more time to myself...' She thought sourly, wishing she had found what she was looking for earlier so she could have had some fun before her brother got home.
Giving up on that area of 'fun', Melody jumped up and slid down the banister to greet Mark.
"Hey dork, why are you home so early?" She asked with a slight punch to his shoulder.
 
Mark glanced up at the stairs, hearing his sister.
"Damn..." he muttered, then saw Melody sliding down the banister.

"Soccer practice ended early." he said calmly as he shifted his solid black dress shirt.
 
Melody blinked and took the sight of him in. He certainly had grown up; wasn't it just last year that he was a frumpy little freshman?!
"Mmhmm, right. Well Mom and Dad won't be back until Monday morning. We should have a party."
She grinned wickedly at her not-so-little brother and clasped her hands maniacally.
"Whaddaya say Mark-shmello?" She asks, using her old pet name for him.
 
Mark rolled his eyes as he scanned his older sister, and for some reason, wondered if she was a virgin.

Probably not... what the hell? he thought, shaking that thought out of his head.

"No. Absolutely not." he replied easily; he knew that she was that kind of girl, and he hated it.
 
She stuck her lower lip out, pouting.
"Why not?! You are absolutely no fun Mallo-Mark. Do you ever let loose and stop giving a shit what people think? Ever?!"
Melody stepped closer to him and placed her hands on her hips, imitating their mother being 'reallyveryserious'.
 
Mark looked up at the ceiling for a moment, then shook his head.
"Nope. Never; but you make up for my slack don't you?" he said as he saw Melody mimic their mother.
"Is that supposed to persuade me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
 
Melody shied away from his gaze when he insulted her recklessness. It normally wasn't something that bothered her, but having her sweet, innocent brother broach the topic was more harsh than the bitches in school.
"What fucking ever Mark. Just because you have a rod shoved up your ass doesn't mean that I have to be a prissy bitch too." She snarled, and whirled away from him, marching up the stairs.
 
Mark raised his eyebrow as he looked at his sister walking up the stairs. He tilted his head as he looked at her tight, round ass and sighed gently.
"What the fuck..?" he cursed quietly, then rolled his eyes and walked into the kitchen.
 
Entering her room, Melody dropped softly onto her bed and curled into a ball. 'I don't know why I snap like that whenever he accuses me of being feckless.' She mused, and got back up to return downstairs.
"Mark? Mark come here, I want to talk to you. Where are you?"
 
Mark was still in the kitchen, but he was making sandwiches, his and Melody's favorite kind. The knife slamming on the meat drowned out other noises, so Mark couldn't hear her.
 
Wandering around the first floor of their house, Melody finally heard the sharp clang of a knife meeting the counter top, and entered the kitchen.
She stepped over to where Mark was slicing meat, and hoisted herself up on to the counter next to him.
"Hey, look. I'm sorry I snapped. I just... really don't like you saying that about me. Yeah, I like to party, but I'm not a slut. You really should loosen up baby bro."
Seeing what he was making, she let out a delighted laugh, and grabbed a small slice of meat and began nibbling. "Mmmm."
 
Mark stopped slicing the meat as he listened to her.
"That's not what I meant. I don't think you're a slut, Mel." he said, calming down.
"And I can't loosen up, you know that; if one of us gets into trouble during the party, then I can speak for you." then bit his tongue, knowing that he just allowed her to have the party.
 
"Youu knoww what thaaaat meeaannss!!" Melody sing-songed as she jumped off the counter. "Party party party!" She giggled and twisted her hips in a sort-of-almost-dance.
"I'm going to go call every single one of my girlfriends who has ever mentioned thinking you were hot. I owe you that." Grabbing the knife out of Marks hand and placing it on the counter, she leaned over and gave him a huge hug.
 
Mark groaned as he fully realized what he did, "Dammit!" he groaned as she danced.
"Don't, okay?" he asked, but knew she would call them anyway. She didn't know he was still a virgin.
Slightly taken aback by the hug, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back.

Feeling him hug her back, Melody got a little flustered. When did his arms become so muscular? When did his chest become so defined? A thrill shot through her middle and she pulled away abruptly, forbidding herself from thinking about him that way.
"Oh why not? I know you're attracted to Lisa; I've seen you check her out. Why not have a little fun? You don't need to fuck the girl to have a good time you know." She stated, rather bluntly.
 
Mark was once again shocked that she pulled away abruptly. What was wrong with her?
"That doesn't matter. What if she doesn't like me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he finished the sandwiches and placed them on the table.
 
Grabbing one of the sandwiches he made, Melody sighed and looked at Mark.

"She thinks you're hot. Hot as in: good looking, cute, handsome, fuckable. She's told me this numerous times. Face it dude, you're not a weird little kid anymore. Women are taking interest."

Not being able to help herself, she let her eyes scan him from top to bottom. She bit her lip and turned away quickly to find her cell phone; hoping fervently that he didn't notice her check him out.
 
Mark didn't notice as he was too busy listening to her words.
"Uh... when was I a weird little kid? I remember a time when you weren't so beautiful." he said calmly, not realizing the truth behind the words.
 
With a playful snort, she replies, "Last month you were a weird little kid."
Fully realizing what her brother had said though, Melody turned back around to face him- suddenly much closer than she was before. "Did you just call me beautiful Mark?"
 
Mark laughed, "Last month? How could anything have changed over the mo-" he stopped, his head leaning backwards as to not touch her when she had gotten so close.
"Uh... yes?" he answered, wondering what has gotten into her.
 
Staring into eyes that were very much like her own, Melody laughed softly.
"Sorry for weirding you out. It's just that... no one's ever called me that before. Hot, yeah; sexy, sometimes... but never beautiful."
 
Mark was unable to laugh as his sister was so close to him.
"Would it make you feel better if I called you hot or sexy?" he asked, feeling his lungs constrict as he wished to have her back away.
 
Feeling his discomfort, Melody suddenly realized how close to him she was. But she did not move away.
Smirking slightly, she narrowed her eyes. "Why, do you think those things?" Melody crossed her arms over her chest in a playful manner, and awaited his hesitant answer.
 
Mark hesitated like she thought, then slid out of her space and shook his head.
"Of course not! You're my sister." he said, sitting down and eating his sandwich.
"So Lisa, huh?" he asked, trying to change the subject.
