A Lonely Scarecrow

This might be a strange RP concept, but I think it might be fun.

The basic premise is, a sad and lonely scarecrow has only one friend: a crow. Ironic, huh? Anyways, she's tired of being alone and decides to take to the road. She had no idea where she's going, only that she's going somewhere. Who will she meet along the way? Well that's for you to decide.

That is a charming premise, IMO. I'd be happy to bump into this odd couple of yours.

Dunno, sometimes I do evil for evil's sake. Besides the idea of her running around hystically makes me smile. Just like Mario "hothothothothot!"

Sounds like it could be fun, just seems like a really nice story concept Would like to participate, but I dont have much experience roleplaying though, so hope that's alright?

Eh that's okay. I've noticed you've already taken control of Patches and Mr. Crow, though ^_^;

For most role plays you'll need to create your own character and interact them with ones belonging to different players. Normally I'd probably yell at you for taking control of my characters, but I'm gonna let it slide and see what we can both come up with.

I guess this thread can be like an experiment. Like where you write a sentence on a piece of paper, fold it over and pass it to someone else. They write a sentence of their own, and once you unfold it at the end you have a collage of a story.

Aw, oops, sorry. I guess I should actually have read the roleplaying etiquette article I went looking for instead of just closing it down again and going, oh I can figure this out on my own, it can't be that difficult right. Should have known that would backfire on me.

Thanks for not yelling at me though Also they're such fun characters, I couldn't resist.

Experimentation sounds interesting though, but I'll try not to usurp your characters too much and come up with some of my own...

I guess if nothing else at least I didn't put Patches on fire.

As long as you all are experimenting, do you mind if I join? I'm new to ORP, also, but would like to try it out.

Here's my character idea:

Noc. A human-like character with a metal arm, a metal plate on his left side over his rib cage, and a piece of metal on the right side of his head where his skull should be. His left arm is metal, not bionic, exactly, but kind of a crude rusty set of metal tubes with a creaky joint at the elbow and a few fingers. A leather strap connects to the fingers and elbow, laces around his neck and runs down his right arm, connecting to the good, human fingers of his right hand. He controls his left arm and hand by moving the fingers of his right hand.

Noc obviously had some accident in the past, but he doesn't exactly recall what the accident was or where he got his metal parts. He also doesn't remember his previous name or life.

What he does know (or thinks he knows) is that he's quite unintelligent. He feels like other people know more than he does, and he's usually embarrassed at the things that come out of his mouth, but he still feels compelled to talk anyway.

Got the scarecrow, the tinman, the crazy fire wizard (sorta).

I hope you don't mind if I jump in? This sounds like a very interesting idea for an RP. Very whimsical.
