I agree with all of the above, be careful. Talk to your Domme and ask her if her sub/slave went to a phycisian and talked to them first about it, I'm sure she will know that much at least. Take precautions, maybe start with a flogger first and work up to caning. A flogger even when hit hard isn't nearly as brutal as a cane because the weight is dispersed more evenly throughout the tips than just a single spot on the cane.
