I am addicted to Dr. 90210, and recently viewed an episode where a porn actress, her name escapes me now, underwent anal bleaching.
Now, this isn't a procedure that personally interests me, but I was just curious if anyone had any experience with it. Seems a lil extreme and just odd to me, what one will endure to acheive what they feel is perfection.
Any thoughts?
Would it not be funny if anal bleaching became as mainstream as bleaching your teeth? Something along the lines of Crest Whitestrips, just for the nether region.

i saw this on the stern show... dunno if it was the same chick or not but this was a porn star who was being bleached for a comeback/farewell video she was doing.

from a philosophical standpoint i don't think i have a problem with it... i mean we update our software and use furniture polish on the end tables... why not bleach your ass if it's part of your career?

from an objective, realistic standpoint, i have two thoughts. first, the same thing could be accomplished in editing. remember how they made whitney houston not look like such a crack whore a few years ago? second, i think a lot of this is done for the publicity... just like when houston had her labia reduced.
 
Not only is it done, but there are jokes about it.....

Two women are talking and one says to the other, "I'm thinking of getting my asshole bleached. What do you think?"

The other says, "I don't think your husband would look good as a blond!"

over time, or through natural pigmentation, the sphincter becomes discolored. it's not a cleanliness issue but i guess some people think that it LOOKS dirty. like any elective cosmetic procedure... it's vanity mostly.

i remember saying this somewhere... but i can't remember where, or what the whole phrase was, or what it was in response to. lol. help me out and i'll gladly explain what i meant.

Cost is variable depending on the product used, but from what I have read you can avoid the need for bleaching altogether.
Apparently, your diet has a lot to do with discoloration around this area. Heavy consumption of coffee and colas along with red meat can contribute to the problem as well as the ingestion of artificially dyed products. Basically, keeping your diet clean will do the same for your ass. :)
The bleaches and creams used in salons and by cosmetic surgeons are more costly, but so are the effects. They can cause eczema and repeated use is supposedly linked to anal leakage. Yuck! Who needs that?
At any rate, to each their own as far as I am concerned.
Oh, FTR, the actress that appeared on Dr. 90210 is Tabitha Stevens.

I thought my eyes had deceived me when I saw this thread. Now I'm hooked. How long does this bleaching last?

Edit - I guess this is two questions, how long does the procedure last?, and
How long do the effects last?
 
From what I understand, the procedure is fairly uncomplicated and doesn't last very long at all.
First, the area is waxed free of hair and then the cream bleach is applied. All of this is done, of course, while you are on your hands and knees in a very um, prone position.
I am not sure how long the effects last. I would imagine at least a couple of months.
 
if anyone has a link to before and after photos on this one, i'd be WAY curious to see that. I didnt even know there was such a thing, till I saw this thread, and I was SURE I'd had seen it all.

I see things like this and I have to ask, is it wierd that I find women with darker assholes and labia to be sexy? Of course, I'm also not a fan of fake breasts either. :cool:

*raises hand* I must be one of those vain people or some such, but this thread really piqued my interest because I wondered how I could get 'clean'. Hubby has a real anal fixation and I must admit, I have issues with it because of the 'dirt'. I know, if he doesn't, why should I? but I haven't been able to wrap my head around it.

On a related topic, if someone did have a reference indicating that it was 'normal' for the sphincter to become darker, rather than a result of poor hygenie, I would love to know about it.

Im not sure myself.....but if you watch porn......some assholes are the same color as the girls nipples........it seems to be a color issue and not a hygene......some that have .cute little pink nipples have cute little pink assholes......i have medium pink nipples and my asshole is the same color........I just had to look....LOL

I have heard of this being done. Last year while out having dinner with a few people two of the ladies started talking about it. Seems the friend of one had it done.

Can't say I have seen it myself. I just tend to ensure we have a shower and clean each other around the anal region before getting into serious ass play.
