My dream game room will have the following:

- Four pool tables
- Two ping pong tables (why don't more places have these?)
- Two air-hockey tables - one regular and one neon
- Centipede - the original arcade game
- Hydro Thunder - a fucking cool speed boat game for my Hump to play but since it's so huge and you have to literally walk up stairs to climb into it - maybe it'll get it's own extension room
- Electronic dart boards (2 and far from from postcard/poster collection)
- Carpeted walls near the foot massage area (I can perv while my beau plays Hydro Thunder, hahaha shut up)
- Red Licorice bins along with Ice Cold Water vending machines
- Serious music system - either external beats or optional private gears

Hmmm, I could go on and on... am thinking more about decor right now and dusky rose & angry evergreen are coming through. Plus, I have to go.

What would your personal game room contain?

Cool. Guess we can close this thread now.

You came up with the best answer EVER.

You forgot Frogger. One of those old table games like they had at Pizza Hut years ago.

No pinball machine? My game room is gonna have the twilight zone pinball machine. And a bristle dart board, not a cheap ass electronic dart borad made for bogus soft tipped darts.

Galaga
Galaxia(n) ?
Donkey Kong
Pac Man
Ms Pac Man
Of course, Frogger
Mario Bros. before they got big

A Ms. PacMan game, and maybe Tempest.

Oh, and an original 4-player Gauntlet. I loved that game...

wow. i actually have a mild amount of respect for you now. galaga rules.

And I rock on it :p Mild amount of respect, puhleeze minion...I will kick your ass at Galaga anyday.

You just need a MAME machine...and load it up with emulators for all videogame systems, PinMAME, and all MAME games.

Mine's in the works. :)

Well, if I listed every good idea then this thread idea would have served zero purpose, no?

Is there a Spider-Man pinball machine? If so, I'll jot that down on my list. I want something with gold balls as opposed to the fake steel metal or whatever the typical is. But would those be too heavy?

I also like those car-racing games - like Daytona 500 "Gentleman, Start Your Engines" (totally sexist) so I'll take a few of those. Have to have at least 2 to compete with another and not just the computer.

Perhaps a disco atmosphere one week, then a durty industrial/gothic look the next....

As for dart boards, I happen to have a snazzy digital Halex board in my apartment. Unfortunately it calls for bogus soft-tipped darts so I know what you mean. I just love the sounds it makes whenever I win!

Frogger has always pissed me off - just not a game I could lick but having one to show off would be sweet! Same goes for the other Mario Bros. games that Bent mentioned... especially Galaga (my beau still plays like that like a mean machine) and Ms. Pac Man. All these fuckers on MTV's Cribs have only 1 good old time video arcade game in their "Cribs" and I've wondered, wtf?

Why not an entire game room? Bowling lanes and all... I mean ALL!

That'd be nice. Real nice :)

It's your fantasy. Who says you can't have it all?

That's right! It's all or nothing with me when it comes to fantasy~!

But what else would you want, SS?

As long as you are gonna have some type of pin ball machine.

We also needd the nightmare on elm street pinball machine. That game rocked.

As for dart boards, always go bristle, and have a chalk board set up near by in case you want to play a good game of cricket (the best of all dart board games).

Cricket is my favorite - what I first learned years ago - and just an all-around national fave it seems. Have used small chalk boards and pads of paper plus coasters in the past so I guess I have played with bristle... just that the name didn't seem familiar.

Brislte dart boards are the type that no matter how many games are played, the board never seems to wear out.

It is what the boards are made of that make them bristle.

I have also seen wooden, and cork, and niether of those last.

As for pinball machines, Adam's Family, Terminator 2, and Monopoly need to be in the game room.
