Tips for how an older man can cum with more frequency?

I'm a guy in his early sixties. My sexual encounters are infrequent, but they tend to be all-day affairs. I can normally only cum once or twice, but when I was younger, I could cum up to 4 times in a session. I'd like to cum more frequently now -- any suggestions?

I have been using the approach of not cumming for a week or two beforehand, to save myself up. Perhaps that's the wrong idea? Perhaps I should be trying to cum a lot beforehand, like exercise to develop a muscle group?

Well, you have gotten older.

We just have to accept, that we're not 20 anymore.

But regular exercise, a healthy diet, limiting stress, no smoking, sensible sleeping patterns and keeping the consumption of alcohol at a low level, will give the best odds for keeping up the good work.

If you choose only two, go for smoke and exercise.

Sexual response is complicated, so it's no surprise the answer to this question is complicated (at least for me). At 51 years young I have noticed that when my love relationship with my wife is front and center in my marriage, as opposed to classes & homework and job stress, I want sex more often and cum more easily. From a physiological perspective, I have low testosterone and have a prescription cream. It seems to help with both the desire for sex and frequency.

I know this isn't the question that you've asked, but I've taken a slightly different approach and have a slightly different goal. I want the desire for sex and the sex itself to be more intense and more frequent. Delaying orgasm works pretty good. Sometimes when my wife is satisfied I'll forgo mine, which keeps the craving simmering until the next time, when everything feels more intense.

I have no idea how my testosterone is faring. I don't have any trouble getting and keeping an erection, although I give my girlfriend the credit for that. ;)

I don't smoke, and I get a fair amount of exercise, although I could stand to get more.

Maybe try asking some of the male litsers on the 50s thread?

The other thing I would suggest is that if your encounters are all day sessions, maybe think about what you can do to your partner with your tongue, your mouth and your hands, and where else, apart from your genitals, you enjoy being touched - assuming that you're straight, a lot of women would be able to get their heads around the idea of you being able to get a lot of pleasure from being touched, teased and/or caressed even if you don't orgasm, let alone ejaculate every time.

BTW yes I'm female, I also know (somewhat) what I'm talking about, as my husband is on a painkiller which causes retrograde ejaculation (aka "backfiring"), making it look (and feel) as though he's cumming, although there's next to nothing coming out.

Don't get me wrong, my partner and I are having a wonderful time as it stands. She cums plenty, and we both revel in the sensuality and the affection of it all. However, she gets a special sort of pleasure from making me cum, and I would like to give her more of that pleasure.

I'm still curious as to what people think about "saving up" cum by not orgasming for a week or two, prior to the tryst. Do you think that helps, or hinders?

I think it will make you horny as hell, make it feel really good to finally get off.... and do little for the rest of it.

The local sperm bank says that a "celibacy" of 48-96 hours is optimal with regards to delivering a quality load.

Contrary to several of these posts, it's genuinely a case of 'use it or lose it.' Or so a urologist I used to work for once told me. Like other forms of exercise vs. atrophy, the more the better. It's not so much muscle, as one usually thinks of it, but the blood vessels and nerves involved in erection and ejaculation. So go out and get laid, or buy more soap. ;)

Beyond this, talk with your doctor/urologist.

I was wondering about that -- whether cumming was like muscle tone that you can develop with exercise. There're probably an optimum point, where through constant practice you have toned the cumming muscle, but by saving up a little bit, you can give your partner an extra treat.

I like the "muscle tone" theory.

It makes sense: stay fit, but when you really need to deliver, save up your energy with low intensity in the days leading up to the event.

It's not really your inability to cum as much as it is the increased refractory period as men age. There's honestly not a whole lot you can do about it. But google "Aging and male refractory period".

That's why God gave me a tongue........

For those "Extended cycle" times.
