Have just returned back from Christchurch, was down there for work, what a heartbreaking sight, seeing those beautiful buildings bought down. I have great memories of walking through Cathedral Square on my way to and from work each day and just stopping to enjoy the beauty of it.
Kia Kaha to families who have lost loved ones, life will never be the same again for you, live your lives for those that have been lost, keep them close in your hearts and memories and remember that the rest of NZ is mourning the loss of life as well.
An amazing job has been done by the USAR Teams both from NZ and from overseas as well as the police and Red Cross etc. My thoughts go out to these people who have worked on little sleep and seeing some horrible sights and doing this job to help return people to their familes, while knowing that it will continue for awhile yet.
