It is true, that we Americans tend to “ suffer fools badly” especially those that attack us before the discussion has even started. Chimpanzees, sea gulls..whatever...who calls people these things?? It really is an interesting topic, maybe eventually you will get back to it. No matter, I will go back to my NYTimes analysis of last nights Presidential address. Which has nothing to do with the topic at hand BTW..

I did that as well this morning, BTW, in addition to reading the WPO, and I learned one truly sad fact: regardless of how much both papers dig up in terms of lies and exaggerated ostentatiousness, Trump did manage to pull too many Americans across the table last night.

But that happens to many nations; theere was a time when the majority of Germans were rooting for Adolf Hitler also, the fellow whos battle cry had been "make Germany great again!"

Americans didn't put anyone in office. The Electoral College did. Yes, the members thereof are Americans but... Politicians and everything along the way is seemingly corrupt.

I still don't know how Clinton got into the finals because I have friends who went to the primaries and although Sanders go more votes, Clinton was still chosen.

We also know you opinion of our :president. But just like everything else, that's YOUR opinion and not everyone shares it.

That being said, I try to stay out of politics and religion. Talks about those things usually don't end well.
