Hoping someone can help me find this story I read sometime last fall!
The situation: the society that the story is based in has laws about sex, and there's an inspector/warden/traveling guard of some sort who is tasked with making sure that women follow the rules. He inspects or examines women who are rumored to have broken the rules, and also gives pre-marriage lessons in sex.
I specifically remember that the woman he's examining in this story was engaged to be married and that her father had signed a waiver so she didn't have to take the pre-marriage lessons, but then he revoked it? So there was an inspection aspect followed by a lesson/sex.
Anyway, I've tried searching and I can't find it, and it's driving me nuts! Would appreciate any leads.
