And what is the perspective? Writing this first person from the TV's viewpoint would allow lots of inner dialog and introspection, sharing with the reader all the frustration and thrills she is feeling. On the other hand, doing it in a neutral third person would let the reader identify with either character, which might broaden its appeal.
