How do I get an avatar?

Hi, I’ve been on the site a couple of months and have posted over a 100 comments (including threads), so think I can now post an avatar. The only thing is... I haven’t a clue how to go about it. Can anyone give me some advice and tell me the steps to do it. I appreciate you reading my comment and hope you can advise me. Thanks, Polly x

Sure. I'll be happy to help. A couple of people were nice when I first joined so I'm happy to pay it forward.

It's really pretty easy. Click User CP towards the upper left corner (it's just below Reply To Thread)

A menu will come up and you'll see the Edit Avatar option. Click that.

There's an option on the next page that comes up to link to an existing pic on the web but I've never had any success using that.

It works best if you have a pic, a small picture, I think it can't be any bigger than 50 or 100kb, on your computer. Click the Upload Pic button, find the pic you want to use on your computer and press Done.

I think that's it!
