Powerful man has a way with women. He has a number of them wrapped around his finger...but what they don’t know before he takes them home is that he’s on a tight leash that’s held by his wife, who’s the real power behind the throne. She sees mistresses as useful to her husband’s position but only lets them stay if they pass an audition that she conducts.
The audition of course is based on attractiveness (too plain, people will be distracted, too attractive people won’t believe it), intelligence and ability to handle PR (there’s going to be paparazzi, girl needs to be able to handle herself). And sexual skills, both in seduction and performance (people should dream about fucking the mistress and not only are husband’s needs great but he needs to have them met promptly...can’t be at a function and have a visible erection while giving a toast)
Of course the most important test is knowing their place. They have to show they know wife is at the top of the food chain.
Still, if they fail, they might still end up in wife’s harem.
