Hooray

I'm a huge Raymond Chandler fan. His Philip Marlowe character remains the best private detective in the whole noire category. Marlowe is the standard.

But Chandler didn't start out with masterpieces, the masterpieces began as short stories, became novellas, then morphed into long masterworks like THE BIG SLEEP and THE LONG GOOD BYE.

I own the stories and novels, and just discovered that the novellas are in print, now.
