I saw Zero Dark Thirty last night, 2 hours and 37 minutes long.

Not a bad movie, but not a great one, either.

The theatre was full, but the audience was dead quiet throughout and afterwards while leaving.

It made me wonder how American audiences react to it...

well, this review ruins it for me. thanks. i guess

Hmm...I would have thought the american GB-ers would be flocking to see this movie.

It's very good and the kind of movie Bigelow excels at. People getting upset about some torture scenes are idiots. I hope they get waterboarded for being so fucking stupid.
That being said, I liked Hurt Locker more.

Why see it in theaters with a cost of $10 per person when it'll be on ppv in about 3 months and I can see it for $4.99? It's the type of movie that won't lose too much on the small screen. It's not an epic scale movie like The Lord of the Rings movies.

I can't remember the last time I paid to see any movie.

And forget the theaters. Sitting in the dark with a bunch of strangers behind you is creepy.

I go to the movies once a week to a theatre with Imax sized screen, monster surround sound system and new reclining leather seats with armrests that flip up and out of the way.

I would have thought Americans would flock to this one to watch Bin Laden get shot, if for no other reason.

Seal Team 6, etc. Huzzah.
