It's a perrennial, and it lives in a weedpatch, uncared for other than I pull the vines away now and then, and give it a squirt. It used to be in a place where it didn't really fit in, but rather than thow it out I gave it a chance by replanting it in it's current unsalubrious location.

I think it must be Welsh - it's tough, and keeps coming back year after year, sloughing off the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and climate. Reminds me of a certain Welsh pixie who I love (and who decidely is not just pixiesh but is primarilly a very cultured and accomplished young woman).
